The in-game stats for the opener showed how dominant the Blues were – far more than the scoreboard. This is going to get ugly.

Optus Stadium is an incredibly fast track and given New South Wales so severely undershooting their expected scoring in Game One then this game looks a great bet to take the over. There is no spoil about Zac Lomax to score but every indicator suggests he is close to a good-thing to score. The Blues are big favourites. He has five tries in four Origins. The Blues skew right. He is on Valentine Holmes and Reuben Cotter’s side of the field. Chips in job.

Angus Crichton is huge odds. He was unlucky not to win it in the opener. Forwards have historically followed forwards. His numbers always stack up in either a defensive battle or an onslaught. He is an excellent man of the match play.
