SIR RUPERT CLARKE STAKES | FINAL FIELD – KEY CHANCES
2. Laws Of Indices – Talented entire who can win a G1 here at some point. First up here and not well weighted, but maps beautifully and Golden Eagle 5th and George Ryder 3rd in previous preps read well here.
7. Graceful Girl – Has a powerful finish and put in a better run second up last week beaten 2.3L at G2 level. Can surprise but doesn’t map well.
8. Ayrton – Talented boom galloper who has had his colours lowered in recent runs. Maps beautifully but first up here and needs to prove himself given the short prices he runs at.
10. Showmanship – 10 starts for 8 wins and was a strong winner first up in Sydney. Can’t discount.
11. Red Can Man – Consistent type who rarely runs a bad race and is a must for exotics.
16. Chaillot – Absolutely flies fresh with 4 wins from 5 starts first up and has had a positive trainer change here. Maps terribly right out the back here.
17. Dragon Leap – Ran a strong 4th in the G1 Memsie and drops 4.5kg here. Maps poorly back and wide but profiles nicely otherwise.
18. I Wish I Win – Bolted in first up at Caulfield running time comparable with the G1 Memsie. 2nd up here and maps to get a long way back.

SUMMARY
Very tough race. Most horses have some sort of convictions with regards to the historical profiling, in relation to prep, age, map etc. Backing the top 4 rated runners.
