BACK: 4. Sacred Rocks (WIN) for 3 units (Rated at $1.90)
SACRED ROCKS has yet to put a foot wrong in her short career having not missed the top 2 from 6 runs. She was a good winner over this trip 2 starts back before a bold effort last time out for 2nd. She looks suited back to the 1300m and expect this track will suit her better to handle the wide barrier. She is rating well in these benchmark races so looks set for a good performance again.

LAY: 7. Pure Alpha (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $10.00)
PURE ALPHA looked to have had every chance last time out when rising to this 1800m trip for the first time. While he did manage to run in for 2nd place, he is met with a different race map here may have to give a head start to a few in form runners. If he can find improvement from last start he could be around the mark, but that feels the risk in this

RANDWICK PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | SATURDAY JULY 26TH 2025
RAIL: +11m 1000m-W/Post, + 8m Remainder TRACK: Soft 6
The rail here today is in a unique position for the Randwick track. But generally with the rail out the track does play fairly and with conditions likely improving in the lead up to the meeting, all runners should get their chance to win from all positions.

1. Shaggy
7. Nazwah
2. Hello Romeo
3. Nashville Jack
Betting Strategy
On figures there doesn’t appear to be a lot between SHAGGY & what NAZWAH produced in her debut win. SHAGGY does have the added experience of being in his 2nd prep here now so any improvement could really bring him on. While if NAZWAH can find any improvement off her debut run she should prove hard to beat but does need to take that step up. HELLO ROMEO comes out of some good form races back in Victoria and gets the right race map so wouldn’t surprise and NASHVILLE JACK resumes here off the back of 2 handy trials so could fire fresh.
3. Forecaster
6. Aix En Provence
2. Kingston Charm
9. Callistemon
Betting Strategy
A few key chances in the race are drawn poorly here which could land them in awkward spots in run, so it might be FORECASTER who gets the run of the race and she takes a step back down slightly in grade which will suit as well. AIX EN PROVENCE rates well here and is consistent, gets a chance if he races here but is also nominated in the last race of the day. KINGSTON CHARM was good for 2nd last start, fitter and 3rd up now which is where she starts to find her better form at this point of the prep. CALLISTEMON is a consistent type in good form at this level, but the wide draw might have her a long way back in the run and needing some luck late.
2. Full Of Sincerity
6. In Summer
8. Off The Scale
10. Zelestial
Betting Strategy
There isn’t a lot of speed on paper into this race, FULL OF SINCERITY looks the key speed influence and could certainly fully control this race out in front which will have him strong late at this trip. All of the money in early betting has been around IN SUMMER who is up in trip and fitter 3rd up now into this prep. OFF THE SCALE & ZELESTIAL both look to take steps up into city level races now after winning 2 in a row.
4. Stardeel
2. Diddle Dumpling
8. Golden Straand
3. Signor Tortoni
Betting Strategy
STARDEEL looks the horse coming out of the right form references so far this prep, the last start 2nd behind KING’S SECRET looks a form line that can hold up here, STARDEEL was hitting the line strongly over the 1100m so the rise to 1300m should suit. DIDDLE DUMPLING has won 2 in a row including a similar race to this last start defeating some key rivals she meets again today one of those being the lightly raced GOLDEN STRAAND, yet to miss the top 3 in his 3 career runs so expect he can go close again. SIGNOR TORTONI has been strongly supported in her last 2 runs when winning both so this looks a good next target.
4. Oh Diamond Lil
9. Aberlour
3. Green Shadows
5. Louisville
Betting Strategy
BACK: 4. Oh Diamond Lil (WIN) for 3 units (Rated at $2.00)
OH DIAMOND LIL is a consistent type and has won 2/2 starts over this track/trip set up. She is in strong form this prep only missing the placings once from 4 starts so looks to be getting in well at the weights in this and mapping to be prominent again. So expect she will race up on speed in a strong position and should be every chance again
5. She’s Unusual
7. Changing Colours
2. Nana’s Wish
10. Bright Red
Betting Strategy
SHE’S UNUSUAL was an impressive winner last start over this track/trip when getting out to an appropriate trip for the first time this prep. She will rise in weight for this after the last start win, but should be able to manage after that last start performance. CHANGING COLOURS was a good winner 2 starts back and then had some issues after her last start run, looks suited to rising in trip and should be able to bounce back from last start. NANA’S WISH has won 2 in a row and looks suited rising in trip after getting through the line strongly in recent runs. BRIGHT RED next who was close in a similar race last start and maps the same again here so could replicate that effort

13. Tarpaulin
7. The Black Cloud
10. Lulumon
6. Hi Dubai
Betting Strategy
Tricky betting race here given a lot of these have strong form lines and good maps, so it makes it hard to split those at the top of the market. TARPAULIN was very strongly supported 1st up into this prep but over raced and couldn’t finish off strongly. He should be better suited fitter for this now having trialed since and gets in here lightly at the weights, with the right run he could be hard to hold out. THE BLACK CLOUD hits this 3rd up after 2 solid performances so far this prep. Should be peaking in fitness at the right point of the prep now. LULUMON has been consistent in some good level sprint races of late, she looks ready to rise to the 1100m trip today having hit the line well in her last few. HI DUBAI has a super record over this trip (6:4-1-0) and will likely race in a prominent position up on speed.

3. Cassiel

13. Break Free
Betting Strategy
BACK: 5. Livin Thing (WIN) (Rated at $6.00)
Thought LIVIN THING was one of the value plays of the day. In his recent runs he has managed a win before some competitive runs in similar grades when well in the market. He is better than what he showed last start when having some genuine issues in the run. If he can get a clear run in the straight, expect to see him in the finish
