SHORTCUT resumes at her 2nd prep today. Competitive in stronger races last prep, this looks well set up for her given she has a favourable race map from an inside barrier. She is suited down in grade and recent trials were encouraging.

Will be a small field post scratchings now and that makes it a tactical affair. MOFEED looks likely to lead and looks close to a win after two good performances in a row. MISS MOLOKAI probably needs to find a step up in level here, but maps favourably and can track the favourite in run. DUSAN is better suited dropping in grade today then next comes BOWDARCIE who hasn’t won for some time and maybe needs luck.

SMART RECOGNITION looks the only runner in this field with a last start run that gives confidence. He can win two in a row now off that, but feels short in this market. PICASSO’S dream can find improvement dropping back to the 1200m where she has only missed the top 3 once in five starts. CREDIT CONTROLLER usually takes a few runs in a prep to find her better form and is 3rd up here now today. CHILLIWACK is best suited over the 1200m trip but may need a run or two to find his best form

Originally wanted to take on SYMO’S BOY, but some key scratchings have changed the race shape which helps his chances. He disappointed last start but can bounce back today on his home track. Stablemate HOSTILE LA VISTA looks the main danger after he ran into the placings on debut. OUTDOOR CAT looks the likely leader of the field which puts him in a prominent position, but needs to work from the wide barrier. AERIAL ARTIST looks the best of the runners making their debut in this race.

DOINGITEASY looks well placed to breakthrough in this race. He has ran into the placings in two of his last three starts and will be suited onto his home track today. The race map looks favourable as well given he can race up on speed with potentially a low amount of pressure.

WARRIOR BAE is getting in light at the weight and is going to get in light at the weights, there isn’t a lot of speed in this race which should have her racing in a prominent position. CLUBHOUSE dropped in grade recently which helped him improve slightly, needs to improve again for this though. DARK CHILL has an inside barrier which could give him an easier run in transit than his last couple of starts had. MOET AT MIDNIGHT as well gets a favourable race map and is dropping in grade.

WONDERLAND STAR is high up in the wieghts, so only having a small play in this race. But she looks ideally suited dropping in grade for this today based off her recent races. She has hit the line strongly in her last few up in grade, so rising to the 2020m for the first time today looks like it should ideally suit her
