SPEED MAP

They usually go quick in this race historically, and the speed looks fast again.

Pride Of Jenni looks to lead comfortably.

See You In Heaven, Corner Pocket, Here To Shock, Ironclad and Savannah Cloud all forward of midfield.

Amelia’s Jewel and Pounding look to possie up midfield.

Attrition, Pinstriped, Beltoro, The Inevitable back of midfield.

Banker’s Choice, Antino, Amenable & Charterhouse out the back.

FINAL FIELD – KEY RUNNERS

2. The Inevitable – Absolutely flying. Very strange run and ride in the Epsom but flew home late with excellent late sectionals. Same jockey here.

3. Amelia’s Jewel – Superstar mare. On talent and ratings is clearly the horse to beat. Mares have an ordinary record in this race.

4. Pinstriped – 2nd to Mr Brightside first up then won the John Feehan second up. Ran 6th beaten 2.8L in this race last year and jumps 4kg this year. Racing in peak form but off a 35 day break here.

6. Antino – Has won 9 from 11 and was strong winning at G3 level last start. Profiles nicely here as the key danger to the favourite.

14. Here To Shock – Racing consistently well and maps solidly here. In the mix.

15. Amenable – Has been crying out for a mile or further after 3 1400m runs. Can to rate a winning chance on his Memsie run two starts back.

16. Charterhouse – Import who ran a strong 2nd in the Winter Championship last prep. Solid first up then missed a run last week due to the wide gate. Does get a soft draw here but gets a long way back.

TOP 5 SELECTIONS

1. 3 – Amelia’s Jewel
2. 6 – Antino
3. 15 – Amenable
4. 14 – Here To Shock
5. 2 – The Inevitable

SUMMARY

Antino could be the one to knock her off. Consistent, wants the mile and will be peaking here.

Can’t discount Amenable based on his Memsie run.

Amelia’s Jewel undoubtedly the horse to beat. But mares have a poor record in this race. Save on her.
