On recent form alone, ZAMPANO looks the runner to beat in this field. but the small query I have here is the expected heavy conditions, while he does have a win on a soft track, all of his highest rated performances have come on dry track. And with the last race of the day here, the ground may be very choppy and being drawn to the inside may land him in those inferior lanes. If he can come out and handle the tricky conditions, he is certainly a winning chance but I am taking him on at such a low price point below the even money mark.

At the time of writing the track was rated as a Soft 6, but the forecast form race day is for more rain, so every chance we see a down grade here onto a heavy track and given the wet track, you would expect to see the runners fan away from the inside lanes in the straight.

DEEMEE comes into this race as the current favourite off the back of 3 strong performances including a recent win, on form she looks the one to beat but she is a slight query on a proper wet track, so willing to have no bet due to that query. NEVIIM ran well on a heavy track last start, he looks suited rising in trip as well so may be an improver. SO YOU READY needs to find improvement, but a heavy tack gives him that chance to do so while WOLF CLUB has some good recent form, looks likely to lead and should be prominent.

Tough betting race here with a few unknowns in the race. The big watch in the race is European import ZELESTIAL, she makes her Australian debut here today off the back of 2 winning trials, 1 of those at this track. Feel she shouldn’t have any issues in these conditions and has had early market support which is always encouraging for an import. GRANDINI has race experience and resumes here, she is a solid performer and has some solid figures on wet tracks which may be ideal. KERMALICIOUS resumes for a new prep, her recent trials have been good and she can go well fresh while TAITY on debut has taken her time to get to the races but is another big watch.

He stuck on well there and maps a lot better for this today which suits, just needs to handle the wet track. CONSIDERED is the other runner short in the market, she resumes for her 2nd prep here on her home track and recent trials were solid, expecting to see an improved filly from what we saw on debut. DOWN THE KOOKA is another resuming runner to watch after some solid form prior to the spell and a watch on debutant ANDALE who has looked handy at recent trials.
