LAY: 2. Waterford (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $5.00)

Laying WATERFORD here being price sensitive on him with this set up he gets today. He gets his first look at a 2000m race here but the set up first time up in trip is the query I have. Dealt with a big weight to carry and a some what wide barrier. The 2000m will be a test for him late but his class could be what sees him through alone and given that is the case I would want a touch more value to back him happily.

BACK: 12. I’mintowin (WIN) for 3 units (Rated at $3.00)

I’MINTOWIN comes into this race 2nd up now after a solid run 1st up behind the progressive FRANZ JOSEF. He maps to push forwards again and take control of the race out in front. Should be fitter for being 2nd up now and has previously improved to win 2nd up into a prep.

ROSEHILL PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | SATURDAY JUNE 29TH 2024

RAIL: True TRACK: Soft 7

Potentially drying conditions through the meeting with clear conditions forecast. The rail returns to the true position so you would expect the track should play fairly and runners able to run on from all positions if they are good enough to do so

15. Emmadella
4. Cruel Summer
14. Manwe
13. Eye Pea Oh

Betting Strategy

Good even midway race here. No real stand outs for me from a betting point of view as you can make good cases for a handle. While preferring to stay out for a bet, the on top pick is EMMADELLA who has placed in similar level races in her last 2 races and gets a super race map in this.

2. Associate
1. Cranky Harry
10. Toes In The Water
7. Soul Lady

Betting Strategy

Not keen to bet into this tough Highway grade race. Thought there were a couple of nice runners in the race such as CRANKY HARRY & TOES IN THE WATER that potentially could have been bets, but their race maps from wide barriers are the queries and lowers the confidence of the race. No bet race.

9. Naval Commission
5. Gan Teorainn
7. Father’s Day
8. Kureder

Betting Strategy

Low confidence race here. Had in form NAVAL COMMISSION as an on top selection for the race, but holding back from a bet based on the conditions. A heavy track would be perfect for his chances but that doesn’t look likely at this stage so having no bet for now but keeping an eye on the track conditions and if we do see a heavy come race day he may be a play.

3. Amberite
12. Nana’s Wish
5. For Victory
11. Decadent Tale

Betting Strategy

BACK: 3. Amberite (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $4.00)

AMBERITE has produced 2 good runs here in Australia back in Melbourne since arriving in the country. He ran along nicely last start only just getting run over. His race map here is super as he gets an opportunity to push forwards into a strong spot in the run. If he can produce a similar run to his last start he looks well enough placed in a race like this.

4. African Daisy
1. Aberlour
2. Ha Ha Ha
7. Demiana

Betting Strategy

Open level race that looks a low confidence betting market. AFRICAN DIASY is the on top selection, she was solid when resuming to run into 2nd place. Did a little work from a wide barrier and maps to get a much better run from a lower barrier here today. No bet into the race though as it does look open.

10. In Flight
8. Jambalaya
13. Cosmonova
3. Boston Rocks

Betting Strategy

BACK: 10. In Flight (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $5.00)

IN FLIGHT is having a strong prep having won 2/3 starts for this prep. She finds herself in a similar level race here and is drawn to be prominent in the run from barrier 4. Probably would have preferred to see her on a heavy track so conditions are worth monitoring again. Given the map she still looks a strong winning chance.

BACK: 8. Jambalaya (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $5.00)

Having a 2 bet play in this race as I don’t want to be letting JAMBALAYA go around with nothing on in this race. Thought he was super 1st up in what is looking to be a strong form race. If he can improve on that run 2nd up he should be too good, but the wider barrier is the query.

RACE 7 | SELECTIONS

5. Golden Path
2. Waterford
3. Bold Mac
11. Danish Fortune

Betting Strategy

3. Elouyou
2. Pure Alpha
5. Silvanito
14. Until Valhalla

Betting Strategy

Found it tough to split PURE ALPHA & ELOUYOU in this race. On paper the race is quite even so tough to bet into. ELOUYOU is the on top selection for the race. He gets the soft race map up on speed from barrier 1 and has looked close to a win this prep, There were suggestions last start that he potentially had some issues and if he is past those here he should be every chance but you’re being asked to take him on trust. No bet race.

12. I’mintowin
17. Aramco
8. Highlights
3. Redstone Well

Betting Strategy

1. Franz Josef
16. November Falls
8. Time Quest
5. Don Diego De Vega

Betting Strategy

BACK: 1. Franz Josef (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $3.00)

FRANZ JOSEF looks a very progressive runner who has won 2 in a row now and can continue to progress through the grades. He looks as if he should be the best runner in the race, but the wide barrier doesn’t do him many favours and a heavy track would be preferrable which are the things holding back from a bigger bet.

BACK: 16. November Falls (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $7.00)

Having a saver bet on NOVEMBER FALLS who was strongly supported last weekend before races were abandoned. She is in strong form and looks close to a win. Gets a good barrier here so maps to find a soft lead and with a light weight may be tough to reel in late if given a soft enough run.

4. Kazou
9. King Of Naples
11. Bojangles
3. Jedibeel

Betting Strategy

Very open race with the race favourite sitting around the $7 mark at the time of writing. Not keen to bet into this as you can thrown a blanket over nearly all of them at this stage. The stable of KAZOU opt to stay here and have scratched from a race up in Queensland which is encouraging. She has the early speed to cross from a wide barrier and find the right run. She is the on top pick but not keen to bet into this race.
