BACK: 1. Ant (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.50)
ANT hit the line strongly last start in what rates as a stronger level maiden, he rises in trip today up to the 2000m from 1550m and now looks as if that should suit and based off the last start run at Canterbury, he should have no issues handling this heavy track

LAY: 2. Invade And Conquer (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $8.00)
INVADE AND CONQUER sets up as the current race favourite at time of writing. He has been around the mark in similar races in his last few starts so class level isn’t the query. But the set up here on a heavy track and over this 1300m trip is what I feel the risk is. He has performed on soft rated tracks previously, but into a genuinely heavy track is a query as others look as if they will handle it better.

BACK: 1. Calstar (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.50)
CALSTAR was a winner 1st up at Newcastle and very strongly supported in that day of the debut run. He produced that win on a heavy track as well so ticks that heavy track form for this. He just tired late in the next start run at Scone, but feel that coming back to the 1500m here today may suit and in these conditions he looks ideally placed.

KEMBLA GRANGE PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | TUESDAY JUNE 3RD 2025
RAIL: +3m 1100m-W/Post, True Remainder TRACK: Heavy 8
Expecting that the track will remain quite wet through the meeting and likely in the heavy range still. So expecting the inside lanes in the straight will likely be the inferior going, but as a general rule, the track should play fairly
6. Doralee
3. Kowloon Victor
7. Girls Weekend
11. Xanadu Miss
Betting Strategy
Hard to spilt a pair in this with DOARLEE looking the runner who has the advantage from a race experience point of view, she was 3rd in a similar race last start but it does look to be a handy form reference, but she is untested in wet conditions. KOWLOON VICTOR is a debutant, he has had 2 decent trials now but the advantage he may have is those trials were run on heavy ground. Feel these runners are the 2 key chances but enough queries to keep me from betting.
8. Cuban Rain
1. Strassman
3. Empress Tsarina
9. Jamarni
Betting Strategy
Tricky betting race here given the big scratchings of BOHEMIAN ART has taken a lot out of this market. CUBAN RAIN looks a likely improver 2nd up off a last start placing, wet track a small query at the price. STRASSMAN gets in well here with an apprentice claim, he has been solid in his last 2 starts on a heavy track so should handle these conditions. EMPRESS TSARINA could be an improver 2nd up while JAMARNI needs to find a better level than what he produced last time, but maps well here

4. Miss Spacegirl
2. Los Padres
3. One Last Shot
7. Winner Of Kowloon
Betting Strategy
MISS SPACEGIRL looks suited in this race and was a good winner at the track last start, but the wide race map is a small enough query to not want to be betting here. LOS PADRES rates well and will likely appreciate the wet track so including him here. ONE LAST SHOT is dropping in grade and goes well at this trip, if he handles the wet track he looks a good chance. WINNER OF KOWLOON is drawn wide but has good early speed and may find himself in a strong position in run early.

BACK: 3. Zaragoza (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $4.00)
ZARAGOZA goes well here on his home track with an impressive record at this track (7:3-1-2) but he can also handle a heavy track having won on this surface previously. The set up looks ideal for him here but the risk is that he will be back in the run so will need some genuine speed to bring him into this race.
BACK: 6. Scissor Me Timbers (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $4.00)
SCISSOR ME TIMBERS was super impressive when resuming winning by a solid margin as well. He relishes wet tracks so looks well suited on this track in the last race of the day. He has an apprentice claim which also help put him in well at this race and every chance to go 2 in a row now.
