Betting Strategy

Tough betting race kicks off the meeting, SUPREME STYLE is short enough but does look to have the scope to improve from her debut performance, but is drawn wide. JOY OF THE WORLD looks a potential leader and resumed with a strong effort for 3rd, could be the one who is in the right spot in running. SPARKLENGLITTER & SESTO are on debut and have both trialed strongly leading up to this.

Betting Strategy

RAIL TRAIL has produced 2x 2nds so far this prep which is form that reads well for this race and he maps to go forwards. JOLLY GOOD FELLOW is the current race favourite and this looks a step down in grade from recent maidens, but he has a wide barrier to deal with. NORTHERN EAGLE is a runner with the good race map and should be prominent which puts him in a good position VICIOUS RUMOUR is another runner who maps to be forwards in running and has drawn the rails position.

Betting Strategy

PLEASURIZE has won 2 from 2 so far into her career and she does look to have good scope to improve, she has the right race map for this track and if she handle the step up looks the right one. CUMNOCK resumes, from 3 previous 1st up runs he is yet to miss a placing. CUMBOOGLE is dropping in class but has to carry a big weight for that, if he handles the big weight he should go close. DAME ANNIE resumed with a 2nd in a similar race and wouldn’t surprise.

BACK: 2. Extravagent Lad (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.70)

EXTRAVAGENT LAD maps perfectly for this race here if the track is playing as expected. He is coming into this race fresh and has previously won twice when first up into a prep including a win first up last prep. The race maps to go quick but that should land EXTRAVAGENT LAD in the ideal position in running.

EXOTIC DANCER resumes here, she was a winner up last prep when on debut and now comes into this off the back of some handy trials, she maps well and looks best suited. ONYSPEED is dropping slightly in grade and may be better suited here today. TURGENEV has won 2 in a row and everything suggests he can continue to progress. SMARTER THAN YOU looks a potential one at odds that wouldn’t surprise, she his the line well last time and now rises in trip.

Betting Strategy

WRITTEN GOLD is lightly raced but appears to have good upside. She was disappointing as favourite last start but may be able to bounce back now and has the race map to likely suit this track. CROWN LEGEND looks close to a win having placed in his last 2 starts. CHECK YOUR SIX may get map advantages given he is drawn to the inside part of the track. FEIMAZUO has placed in 3 of his last 4 starts and was a winner in the other, that form may be franked here.

BACK: 3. Campaldino (WIN) for 3 units (Rated at $2.20)

CAMPALDINO is the current race favourite for this Orange Gold Cup and if the track plays as it is expected too, he gets all the favours and should prove hard to beat. He has produced 2x 2nds so far this prep and rising in trip now 3rd up looks a perfect set up and especially given he maps to take up the lead and if given the soft run, he could prove hard to catch.

Betting Strategy

EXTRAVAGANT CHOICE rates highly in this race but with that does have to carry a big weight, he does get some help with a 4kg apprentice claim and if he can handle that weight, he looks well suited. GOODNIGHT BARLOW will drop down in grade for this run which could bring him back to winning form. LITTLE BIT FLASH has to over come a wide barrier but is in form having won last start.
