BACK: 13. All The Way Mae (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $3.00)

This looks the race of the day and this may prove to be a strong form reference going forwards as you can make good cases for a few of these runners, but at the small amount of value she represents, I am keen to be with ALL THE WAY MAE. We have seen her once at the races so far and she was ultra impressive at Newcastle over the sprint trip. She showed a quick turn of foot to put that race away reeling off the fastest L600m & L400m sectionals of that entire meeting, despite racing greenly in the straight. She looks a runner with huge potential going forwards and can rise through her grades quickly

KEMBLA GRANGE PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH 2025

RAIL: +3m Entire TRACK: Good 4

First meeting since the end of July where is track is expected to be rated as a good. Even with the rail slightly out, the track should play reasonably fairly and give runners a chance on. Slight favouring to runners who will settle no worse than midfield in run.

3. Missie Lee
1. Ex Wife
4. Uncle Barry
5. Cheeky Sort

Betting Strategy

BACK: 3. Missie Lee (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.80)

MISSIE LEE was an eye catcher in her first up performance at Hawkesbury. She went back and once clear, produced the fastest rated L600m of the entire meeting. If she can settle closer here today now 2nd up, she could prove hard to hold out late.

4. Horizons
1. Attica
3. Wounder
2. Squeezebox

Betting Strategy

ATTICA was a winner on debut and now looks to rise through his grades and contests a Class 1 here, it is a winnable race but he feels short enough now at the below even money price. HORIZONS perhaps could represent some value, she ran into the placings 1st up after competing in stronger races through last prep, expecting she could have improvement off that. It is a similar story for WOUNDER who drops in level after last start and did win 2nd up last prep. SQUEEZEBOX gets some race map advantages from an inside barrier so wouldn’t surprise

5. Decalogue
11. Lady Giovanna
9. Breeders Sun
10. Fashionable

Betting Strategy

Tough betting race as it is tricky to dissect given some of the form these runners bring into the race don’t necessarily fill with confidence. The key runner of the race does appear to be DECALOGUE, he ran into the placings in his last start on a heavy track so may appreciate better ground but he looks the key speed influence of the race and may get a soft run early. LADY GIOVANNA potentially has good improvement to give off her 1st up run coming off a heavy track. BREEDERS SUN probably needs luck from a wide barrier but looks suited rising in distance and similar for FASHIONABLE who looks suited rising to the 1500m trip off her debut run.

3. Phoenix Legend
4. Onmalone
6. Orange Tsunami
8. Cool Drinks

Betting Strategy

BACK: 3. Phoenix Legend (WIN & PLACE) for 1 unit (Rated at $6.00)

Felt we didn’t see the best of PHOENIX LEGEND in his first run for the new stable, so expecting he has a few lengths to improve here and may also appreciate a dry track today. His form in Victoria was much better than what we saw last start, so expecting she can improve rising slightly in trip and represents good each way value.

BACK: 3. Phoenix Legend (PLACE) for 1 unit

1. Jacob’s Ladder
8. Dusty Bay
10. Eagerly Awaits
3. Change My Address

Betting Strategy

JACOBS LADDER has had some early market support potentially off the fact he id dropping slightly in grade for this today and 2nd up and fitter now looks the stand out to beat. DUSTY BAY also gets a similar set up and is dropping in grade fitter 2nd up here, if the track is favouring on speed types that perhaps sets him up best. EAGERLY AWAITS maps as the natural leader of the race from the inside barrier so monitoring those track patterns as it may be to her advantage. CHANGE MY ADDRESS drops in grade from her last few starts which could help her find improvement on recent results.

13. All The Way Mae
2. Madrina
10. Whatalegacy
6. Sociable

1. Perfect Play
3. Cosmic Lad
2. Le Mans
8. Irish Bliss

Betting Strategy

PERFECT PLAY has been met with some good market support early here, he maps well for an on speed run, down in grade and generally runs well fresh looks the one to beat. COSMIC LAD may be better suited dropping back down in distance today given he has had a win over the 1500m previously. LE MANS resumes, he has showed good talent previously but has also proved hard to catch, can run well fresh. IRISH BLISS on the quick back up may be best suited if the track favours on speed types.
