ANDROS looks likely to jump as race favourite, recent form has been good enough to win a maiden of this level. JACOBS WELL at odds rounds out the picks, he should land in a strong position from barrier 2.

BRUCKHEIMER makes his debut for a new stable here. Previously based in Victoria, his best runs have come in good level maidens, so he appears well suited in a race of this level to kick off and will likely race in a prominent position on speed.

She needs to take a step up in level now off that run, but looks likely to race near the lead and could get a soft run, can progress through the grades. Resuming DEEP STEALTH looks the key danger, she had winning form through last prep and her recent trials have been good, she can feature and these 2 runners look the stand outs. SNOW FALCON put in a bad one last time but can bounce back to her previous better form. PARNA RIVER comes into this off the back of a win, going well but may need luck from the wide barrier.

Tough betting race over the staying trip with it currently at $5 the field. ROCK THE MACHINE has run 2nd in his last 2 and looks right there, he can race forwards and control the tempo of this race. BONFIDELITY ran close to the winners over this track/trip last start, she can improve and especially if the track becomes wetter. VENCE should be better suited in this race today coming off the heavy rated track which he didnt look to appreciate so much last start. KALKANLI looks likely to race up on speed and control the tempo of this race as the leader, could run away with it if given a soft lead.

With the favourite scratched from the race, it has now really opened up the chances of a few at the top of the market. WARRIOR BAE was well supported last time out when resuming off a long spell, he was solid in the run but expect he should have taken improvement out of that. ZOUMAN ALONG resumes for a new stable, he rates well from previous work but may need luck in run from a wide barrier. BETTA THAN PRESLEY has placed in 2 runs so far this prep, mapping for a good run on speed, he should get every chance to give this a shake 3rd up into his prep. NATIONAL INTEREST is a long time maiden, but looked good in a recent trial so suggest he can get every chance if he finds his best.

In 2 of her last 3 starts, GOT THE SMARTS has run into the placing at this track, she looks close to getting a breakthrough win and perhaps will be better suited here today rising in trip from previous runs, but will need an even track as she has drawn out wide. Main danger DUNE AND DUSTED maps for a softer run close to the speed from an inside barrier. He drops in grade for this and looks well set up. GLAM won her maiden last time up and looks to progress through the grades now, suited up to the 1200m. Expect BARCELONA EXPRESS can be better suited fitter 2nd up now, his better form comes the fitter into a prep he gets.

BANDASHA resumes here today, he has a good record when 1st up into a prep (4:2-0-0) and has had multiple trials coming into this, so expecting he can fire fresh. Speed drawn in beneath him should see him easily find some cover quickly in run and get a sit on some of those speed horses. If he can find the level of form he was at through last prep he should prove hard to hold out.
