Aston Bollinger has taken a liking to Cannington since the reopen winning two of her three starts. This is obviously a rise in grade; however, she maps to lead this race with the only other early speed looking to come from Barbeque Man. Happy to take my chances with the rock hard fit in-form 520m dog over Barbeque Man coming off two runs over the 400m.

Cabramatta Pete brings the best credentials to this contest and was luckless last week. All the same, he matched motors with Sassy Lad early last week who’s drawn directly outside him tonight. Could get checked which sets the race up for the low runners. Not a race I want to get involved in.

Typically has great box speed and will contest the lead. Sunset Comanche is never far away from the action and is the “run-on” dog engaged in this contest.

She will get room to move early with both runners drawn either side of her noted slow beginners. Expect her to settle outside Kisses For Ruby at worst and be the stronger of the pair late.
