Happy to play DE FORZA as my best of the day at Grafton. DE FORZA last start was in madien grade over the 1006m at this track on 20th August. In this race DE FORZA was send as the odds on favourite. Jumping well in this event it was posted 3 wide no cover the entire trip and fought on to get the victory on the line. I think from this deep run it is going to have improvement when it can hopefully control this race tomorrow from the front. This horse is the lightly raced horse on the way up from the Noel Mayfield-Smith yard and happy to make the best of the day.

In the straight it has made ground with style and running away from the field over the line winning by 1.81L. At Grafton it looks to go back from the wide gate again and if they can make ground this mare in form can run over the top.

To finish the day having a small play on PICUPSTIXX. This gelding from the Wayne Lawson yard is a lightly raced horse with 5 starts. PICUPSTIXX last start was at this track over the 1181m on the 20th August. In this race PICUPSTIXX jumped well and settled worst the midfield. In the straight it has worked home very well to flash home into 3rd hitting the line well. At this meeting at Grafton on the 20th August it was super hard to make ground how the track was playing on the day. Tomorrow at Grafton PICUPSTIXX comes back in distance by 65m which isn’t a concern and if it gets the right run in transit looks to be a threat here.
