EXPERT RACING TIPS: BELMONT

BELMONT PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | SATURDAY MAY 30TH 2026

RAIL: 6m TRACK: Soft6

Got absolutely reemed last weekend.  Confidence was high, now it’s lower than the Essendon Football Club.  Someone call Hirdy.

The rain forecast is a genuine head-fart.  The Bureau is basically saying we could get 0 to 1000 ml’s per day.  The temperature will be between 8 and 47 and we could be seeing Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton make a return for Twister 2 (or has there already been a 2?).

My best guess is a Soft6 with not a huge amount of rain on Friday and most of the weekend deluge forecast to arrive late Saturday afternoon and beyond.  Basically, anywhere between a dirt track and a Heavy27.

I’m in a bad mood.
