BACK: 11. Fangirl (WIN) for 4 units (Rated at $2.50)
FANGIRL appears to have no real excuses here today given the condition set up she faces. She is a good performer 2nd up, but she gets to her best trip at the 1600m and getting onto a dry track is going to be ideal. She could be back slightly in the run which is the small risk, but drawn well if Jmac can get her to settle no worse than midfield, she may prove hard to hold out late given how well suited she appears.

LAY: 5. Lord Penman (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $6.50)
LORD PENMAN takes a quick jump up from the 1200m to the 1600m for this today and interestingly as well off a 5 week break between runs. He certainly has talent, but may be better suited with this run under his belt so happy to risk him at the current short price despite giving him a reasonable chance in the race.

RANDWICK PREVIEW AND TIPS | EXPERT TIPS | SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH 2025
RAIL: +7m 1600m-W/Post, +4m Remainder TRACK: Good 4
The rail is slightly out here and the track is expected to be rated a good through the meeting. A set up like this could certainly lead itself to favouring on speed types or runners who can settle forwards of midfield, expectation is that the inside lanes in the straight should be the better going in run.

4. Monkhana
8. Orthie’s Boys
2. Kingston Charm
5. Tenbury Wells
Betting Strategy
MONKHANA looks as if she should get some key advantages in this that should give her every chance. Last start perhaps found the 1800m a step to far so dropping back down to a 1600m will be ideal and she maps for a soft run on speed from the low barrier which should see her strong late. ORTHIE’S BOYS has found good for this prep and now has to take a step up in grade to win here, untested at the 1600m but did hit the line well over the 1400m last time. KINGSTON CHARM drops in grade after he ran a close 2nd last start at a big price and TENBURY WELLS wouldn’t surprise, he can take a few runs to find his best form and is 2nd up here today now.
15. Social Circle
1. Vella’s Best
6. Exit Fee
4. Master Of Disguise
Betting Strategy
SOCIAL CIRCLE has done no wrong to date having won 2/2 so far into her career. She maps well here and should get every chance off her recent ratings, looks the one to beat. VELLA’S BEST is another runner who can race up on speed and be in a strong position in run, wouldn’t surprise here at big odds. Feel EXIT FEE performs at his best when he is on dryer tracks and finally gets one here for the first time this prep today. MASTER OF DISGUISE resumes, usually takes a run or 2 to find her better form in a prep, but dropping slightly in grade may help.

Betting Strategy
BACK: 2. Disneck (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $3.50)
DISNECK has had 2 solid runs so far into this prep, but he usually takes a couple to find his best form and now looks as if he could peak here 3rd up. He has won multiple times 3rd up into a prep (4:2-0-0). He is ideally suited on a dry track and well suited over this track/trip. Expecting that the set up here will ideally suit his chances and give him every chance.
13. Tuileries
12. Idle Flyer
15. Dominetta
14. Dance To The Boom
Betting Strategy
TUILERIES showed a lot of promise last prep and had a good spruke on her earlier this prep, but did take some time to breakthrough for a win. She may have confidence now after that last start win and has the scope to find her best form again if so. IDLE FLYER was a first up winner this prep and is undefeated second up (2:2-0-0) so include her in stronger hopes here as she could improve again. DOMINETTA ran well when resuming to get into the placings in a similar level race, so can go well here but may need some favours from the wide barrier. DANCE TO THE BOOM may be the runner who gets the best race map here given key rivals are drawn out wide, she is fitter 2nd up and will be in a good position in run.
3. Vauban
11. Elamaz
1. Arapaho
12. Birdman
Betting Strategy
A lot to learn out of this race with a few of the runners in this will be targeted at a Caulfield or Melbourne Cup going forwards. VAUBAN looks likely to jump as the race favourite and was impressive when resuming over an unsuitable distance, he has had that run and should be fitter here, looks to be building nicely. Stablemate ELAMAZ is lightly raced but looks as if he has very good upside. He can go well fresh but the disadvantage he has on others is perhaps the fact they have had an extra run this prep. ARAPHO is 3rd up and fitter now as well as rises up to a suitable trip now, he is a winner over this track/trip so wouldn’t surprise. BIRDMAN is another runner who is aimed at some of the big cup races so looking for him to be hitting the line strongly in this.
1. Apocalyptic
2. Tupakara
3. Within The Law
5. Artistic Venture
Betting Strategy
APOCALYPTIC & TUPAKARA went head to head last start and crossed the line almost together when 1st up. Feel they will be the 2 runners that battle this race out again, but siding with APOCALYPTIC who I feel had some improvement to give yet and if this is the race where he can find that level, he should prove hard to beat again. WITHIN THE LAW hasn’t had a lot of luck in her career and again draws a wide barrier here so will be back in the run and needing luck late, but can motor with a clean run. ARTISTIC VENTURE won at a short price last time out, she has showed talent previously and now maybe with some confidence could find the required improvement.
4. Bosustow
9. Mchale
17. Royal Patronage
2. Yellow Brick
Betting Strategy
No doubt this race could completely chance shape come race time given there are multiple dual acceptors here. As it stands, can feel confident BOSUSTOW will start and he is resuming here having gone to a new level in his last prep. May need luck from a wide barrier but he can perform well fresh and looks good value. MCHALE maps for the right run here in this race and is expected to settle in a good position early in the run. ROYAL PATRONAGE looks the key speed influence of this race but comes up as an emergency, so may not get a start but if he races here and can put good speed into the race he may take catching. YELLOW BRICK is a consistent sprinter and maps well, he should appreciate getting off the heavy track today and getting back onto dryer ground.

2. Private Harry
4. Joliestar
1. Briasa
9. Marhoona
Betting Strategy
This race gives us a small look at some of the runners in The Everest and it looks likely that 3 of the runners already with slots will fight this out. Have given the edge to the undefeated runner PRIVATE HARRY. He has done no wrong to date so is hard to knock but feel his best advantage is the fact he kicks off over the 1100m which may suit him best of the runners here. JOLIESTAR is yet to miss the top 3 in 5 first up runs through her career, the wide barrier may prove to not be ideal if the track is playing as expected so conditions are key. BRIASA maps well from barrier 4 and should settle handy in the run, he gets every chance in this type of race, but feel he will be better suited at a 1200m trip.
MARHOONA rounds out the numbers, she resumes off some handy trials and could resume a much improved runner from her first prep.
6. Pocketing
4. Fully Lit
14. Narbold
15. Sunshine Law
Betting Strategy
BACK: 6. Pocketing (WIN & PLACE) for 1 unit (Rated at $8.00)
POCKETING was solid when resuming, but feel he is better suited fitter 2nd up now having has that run. A good rated track here is ideal and up to the 1600m now looks perfect. Needs luck from an inside barrier but is at a big price worth a small go each way given he wouldn’t surprise here at odds with a clear run.
