Jackson Oldham
BACK: 4. Conscience (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $2.25)
Conscience won very well on debut at this track and distance, beating home Sisstainable who has won since and Recuperato who has also won since. She has jumped out well for this too.

Jackson Oldham
LAY: 4. Boltsaver (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $5.00)
Boltsaver now hasn’t won in eight starts and maps to go right back again from the wide draw, has ability but is always a very low percentage play.

6. The Marg Factor
5. Brave Miss
2. Matriarch Rose
1. Igotcha
Betting Strategy
Very little between top and bottom here, The Marg Factor maps for control and Brave Miss gets a positive jockey switch.
1. All Business
8. Silent Shares
3. Butternut Princess
10. Miss Castelvecchio
Betting Strategy
All Business will be suited coming back to the mile and gets Shinn on but does rise sharply in weight. Butternut Princess was good against her last start but loses that fitness advantage.

1. Everain
6. Betwitchery
4. Alero
7. Lario
Betting Strategy
Everain wasn’t suited in a fast run mile last start, suited back to 1400m and has a better base under him now.
10. Malleiter
12. Jennyanydots
4. Charmed Run
8. Enright
Betting Strategy
Another race where there is not much between top and bottom, no real opinion.
13. Empress Of The Sun
8. Trapalanda
14. Fisherman’s Beach
6. Captain Electric
Betting Strategy
Trapalanda and Empress Of The Sun are both lightly raced horses who can put themselves on-speed, clear top two picks.
11. Makdane
9. Ruakaka Raider
17. Zakouma
13. Bavicia
Betting Strategy
It is the map/ratings horse in Makdane versus the sectional horse in Ruakaka Raider, I found it tricky to split them. Zakouma has had excuses his last two after a dominant first-up win but is hard to trust now.
SANDOWN RACE TIPS
Sandown Racecourse (or Ladbrokes Park) has two racetracks, Hillside and Lakeside. Like Caulfield and Mornington, it is operated by the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC). Situated 25 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, the club hosts flat meetings all year round and jumps racing during the winter months, with Betfair bringing you premium Sandown tips 12 months of the year. Â
Fast Facts
- Sandown is the only metropolitan racecourse built in the 20th century, opening before a crowd of 52,000 spectators in June 1965.
Key Events
The extension of Victoria’s Spring Racing Carnival now sees Sandown host its feature race meeting, Zipping Classic Day, in late-November. Named in honour of champion racehorse Zipping, who won the race four years running for his owner Lloyd Williams, the Group 2 weight-for-age contest over 2400m carries a prize fund of $750,000. With the Group 2 Sandown Guineas and the Group 3 Eclipse Stakes and Sandown Stakes also held after the Melbourne Cup Carnival, November is the club’s time to shine. Head to the Betfair Hub for Sandown best bets.   Â
Track Profile
The Hillside course is renowned for being one of the fairest tracks in Victoria and indeed the whole of Australia, giving every horse its chance. There is sometimes a leader bias on the Lakeside course, meaning on-pace horses can have an advantage. Our renowned team of tipsters take this into account and deliver the best Sandown tips for both tracks across all 41 race meetings. Â Â Â
History
The original course was oval-shaped, measuring 1,892 metres in circumference and 30 metres wide, with sweeping cambered turns and an uphill home straight of 407 metres. In 2008, the MRC changed the name of the racecourse to Sportingbet Park. In 2015, it was renamed William Hill Park and in 2016 was changed again to Ladbrokes Park.
With the increase in the number of overseas horses competing in the Victorian Spring Racing Carnival in the 1990s, a quarantine facility was established at Sandown Racecourse in 1997. It housed international raiders for the next 13 years, before Racing Victoria opened the Werribee International Horse Centre in 2010. Â
Sandown also features a motor racing circuit on the outside of the racecourse, and a greyhound track (called Sandown Park) is located to the south-west on the opposite side of Lightwood Road. For all Sandown greyhound and thoroughbred racing tips, Betfair has you covered.
