I just give the edge to Jovic at the current odds. I think Jovic matches up really well here with Li, and I certainly trust her to maintain a level near her best for longer in this one.

We perhaps aren’t quite seeing the consistency in the level of Cirstea at this stage of her career compared to when she was at the absolute top of her game. This makes the price today against Teichmann a little short in my opinion. I am happy to keep this to a 1 unit selection, however Teichmann deserves to be closer to $3 in my opinion.
WTA CLEVELAND – T Gibson vs Z Wang

Gibson is another who looks to be a touch long on form. Great opportunity for her to really cement herself in the Top 100 with a strong showing this week here. She is certainly not without hope here against Wang on current form lines.

Perhaps the silver lining to Boulter missing out on a US Open Mixed Doubles wildcard with Alex De Minaur is a strong showing in Cleveland. Looked back towards her best in round 1 against Yuan, and has a game that shouldn’t be as troubled by Golubic as many others have been.
ATP WINSTON SALEM – G Mpetshi Perricard vs A Muller

Not sure a 3rd set tiebreak win over Martinez is enough for me to think that GMP is back on track. Muller is a tricky customer who can make life difficult for his opponents, and given this style and the form of both players, I have this closer to a coin flip than the current prices.
