Race 4

Exalted Traveller looks the leader. Rikibobby may go forward and think Noname Lane may also. Noname Lane battled on really well last start over 1250m here on the inner track when caught wide.

I think the trip suits and looks to have some upside. Exalted Traveller the obvious but finds it hard to win. Kyshaka may need one more run but a chance.

 Betting Strategy

BACK — Noname Lane at of odds $6 plus for 2 units

Race 5

Rubble and Harpuna the likely leaders here, Harpuna led them up at Moonee Valley last start and battled on well. Senior rider goes on here and the one to beat but too short presently ($2.20 best) Picargo, Party Hack and Ambidazzle the other main chances.

Party Hack won well 1st up then fair behind Thompsons Reward. Third up it ran very well behind Tullys Gold where it didn’t have a lot of luck.

 Betting Strategy

BACK — Party Hack at of odds $8.50 plus for 1.5 units

Race 8

Really even race, Irish Mint will go forward and Little Rich Boy will be looking to find the front and may do so. Lil Kontra needs to improve on its first up win where there were a number of hard luck stories.

Port Vale arguably should have won that race. Its last win however was more than two years ago. Big Effort resumes after a long break, it has had two recent trials and its best form is definitely good enough.

 Betting Strategy

LAY — Lil Kontra at of odds up to $4 for 1.5 units

Race 9

Masterati looks the leader, Extreme Thrill will push forward as will Territory Titan and possibly Nakheel. The pace should be good, Xoulah resumes after having bone chips removed.

Interesting to note that most of its form has it wearing blinkers and it has them off here. I have a really wide market here. ($7 the field)

Thought Magnetic Edge and Hankstar were the 2 with the most upside, 1600m on the main track should suit Magnetic Edge.

 Betting Strategy

BACK — Magnetic Edge at of odds $9 for 1.5 units
