Derby Day at Morphettville Saturday. Races 1-3 are on the inner track. Rail is out 2m from the 1000m to the WP on the inner track and 2m from the 1200m to the WP on the main track. Both tracks are currently rated a Good 4. Up to 4m of rain forecast tomorrow morning/lunchtime.

The rail was in the true position last Saturday when the track played pretty fairly. Think it should be very fair tomorrow and the rail being out 2m from the 1200m is a good move in my opinion.

Three Kings, El Rocko, and Biscayne Bay all meet again in this after Three Kings won at Flemington last start.

Barrier draw sees Biscayne Bay settling closer in this and think it has a good chance of turning the tables on Three Kings.

BACK (EW) — Biscayne Bay each way for 3 units at $5+

Speed should come from Heavenly Bridges, Brazen Brando, Button Express, Load And Go and Narrative Star. Those running on should get their chance. Appalachian gets the services of T Pannell which is a plus.

I have it 1st pick but think the current price ($3) is too short. Lady Pavli Chenko gets M Walker riding and has the blinkers on and the winkers off. Its better form is definitely good enough and although hard to catch looks suited.

 Betting Strategy

BACK (EW) — Lady Pavli Chenko for 1.5 units at $10+

Royal Mile, Liqueuro and probably Ichibansan should go forward and Montepulciano should also settle handy. Really think there are only a 3 genuine winning chances. I expect the winner to come from 1 of the 3 favourites.

Personal backs up after a very good run in the Oaks last Saturday. The 2500m looks ideal. Think its a great each-way bet.$5.50 currently available and doubt it gets any longer

 Betting Strategy

BACK (EW) — Personal each way for 2.5 units at $5+

Looks to be very good speed here. 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 are all go forward, runners. Looking for the ones running on here and one that fits that scenario is Extra Mile. Thought it was a really good win 1st up at Gawler.

 Betting Strategy

BACK (EW) — Extra Mile for 1.5 units each way at $8+
