RACE 1 | SELECTIONS

7. Twopence
5. My Gal Val
2. Halvar
3. Navy King

Betting Strategy

No Bet.

Tough race to suggest a betting play with a majority of the field on debut or lightly raced with the potential to improve sharply. Other races appeal as betting propositions.

RACE 2 | SELECTIONS

1. Boot Of Cortez
5. Grand Stardom
6. Miami Vice
2. Inala Aticus

Betting Strategy

BACK: #1 Boot Of Cortez (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.40)

Got warmed up late over the 1200m when resuming last start, would have taken considerable improvement off that run and gets in very well at the weights after the 3kg claim for the apprentice, staying at the 1200m is ideal.

RACE 3 | SELECTIONS

5. Crackle N Burn
10. Rosa Juliet
1. Home Sweet Home
7. Miss Italiana

Betting Strategy

BACK: #5 Crackle N Burn (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.80)

Very strong debut performance hitting the line powerfully from a long way off the speed over 1200m, strips fitter now and the step up to 1400m is ideal.

RACE 4 | SELECTIONS

3. Crafty Boss
6. Active Duty
4. Kimmorley
10. Van Scotia

Betting Strategy

BACK: #3 Crafty Boss (WIN) for 1 unit (Rated at $4.00)

Has hit the line strongly in his past two starts over the 1600m indicating the step up to 1700m will not be an issue, maps to enjoy the run of the race stalking the leading pair from the good draw with the in form jockey on board.

RACE 5 | SELECTIONS

2. Little Jack
11. Feargat
9. One Thing Counts
4. Actaeon

Betting Strategy

No Bet.

Tough race to be confident in giving a betting selection with not much splitting a majority of the field off their last start performances, other races appeal as betting propositions.

RACE 6 | SELECTIONS

5. Eishaa
2. Mister Me
1. Bold Bourban
3. Extra Elusive

Betting Strategy

LAY: #1 Bold Bourbon to profit 2 units (up to $4.00)

Only fair through the line late when resuming over the 1400m last start, has a habit of missing the start and has not recorded a win on over 238 days now.

RACE 7 | SELECTIONS

1. Brung King
6. Longtimedreaming
4. Moral Force

Betting Strategy

BACK: #1 Brung King (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $2.40)

Consistent gelding coming off a dominant win over 1400m when running right through the line late, strips fitter now and in the small field will find the front and dictate the tempo to suit.

RACE 8 | SELECTIONS

11. Loved Up Lawyer
1. Grassmere Jewel
3. Phoenix Global
4. Tillotson

Betting Strategy

No Bet.

Low confidence betting race with nothing splitting the top two in the market and giving us an edge to back or lay, other races appeal as betting propositions.
