The last meeting here at Sale with the rail out 8m was in July last year on a heavy deck, the inside held up for a couple of races early but by the last few races horses were coming down the outside fence, expect something similar.

I am happy to have a throw at the stumps and lay Blethyn win and place here. He jumped out like a group horse prior to his debut, was very well supported in the late market and went awfully. He has jumped out well again prior to this but in my opinion, not as well as his first preparation and a high variance horse like this, I’d be happy to lay him short odds the place.

Quello Dorato has always shown ability and was well supported first-up, I believe he is better suited at the mile though. No knocks the favourite Flowerdale, other than the price.
