DEODEE (3) bucked just after the start and settled a clear last before closing strongly for second to Need For Spieth at Grafton on Sept 22. Had to requalify last Tuesday so not the ideal lead in to this but will still take beating.

TRUE FAIRY (1) scored a very good win at Coffs Harbour before a closing third at Grafton. Changed stables and was a nice second to My Girl Zarlie at Casino then made up some ground when fifth to Mission To Win at Coffs Harbour at Coffs Harbour.

LAUNCHER (1) was good finishing a three-quarter length third to Welly first-up at his Queensland debut on the Gold Coast. Followed with a second to Heroic Rebel at Eagle Farm.

LOVECATS (11) comes up from Victoria after three runs finishing just behind the placegetters but she had performed well in her jumpouts. Made her first public appearance in NSW with a second to new stablemate Fukubana who is a stakes performer. Showed good speed to lead that trial and drawn well here.

WRITTEN FAME (2) will appreciate a drop back from provincial grade where he has finished fourth and at Ipswich. Came from back in the field with a powerful finish to score by just under three lengths at Kempsey.

OLIVERSHARE (6) kicked off last campaign with a nice win from Come On Glamour over 1115m after sitting outside the leader. Jumped up to 1435m and wasn’t suited sitting midfield where he raced keenly and checking off heels to finish seventh at Grafton. Resumes for a new stable and the wide draw suits.
