It is nice to see McNally stringing together a decent patch of form. I feel her more rounded game should be too strong and too consistent for Parks, who is now 14-24 at tour level since the start of 2024.
WTA MONTREAL – E Rybakina vs H Baptiste

Not sure Rybakina should be this short in these conditions. Looked a little flat footed late against Fernandez in warm conditions, and Baptiste has a style of game that may force her to dictate less than we see against many on tour. I don’t think Baptiste is without a hope here. You could also set up an in-play lay of Baptiste around the $1.50 mark in case she stumbles nearing the finish line.
ATP TORONTO -E Nava vs U Humbert

Not quite at the point of tipping the full upset here, however Nava has shown enough in my opinion to be able to challenge Humbert here. Humbert is 16-14 on the year, so isn’t setting the world on fire, and is first up on the hardcourt post Wimbledon. I feel there is a touch of vulnerability here.
ATP TORONTO – C Moutet vs J Brooksby

Happy to forgive Brooksby for his loss last week. I think his style is one that should cause Moutet some grief. Yes, Moutet was solid last week, but I am not sure he should be the favourite here.
