Joshua Ingram

Joshua has been passionate about sports his life, particularly racing. At 18, he completed a traineeship to become a professional golfer with the PGA of Australia. While touring Australia and the world as a golf professional, Josh fell in love with the great game of horse racing. Like most, he started as a recreational punter enjoying a flutter on metro racing most Saturdays (Thanks to missing so many cuts!). He slowly worked on his knowledge base for several years, picking up pearls of wisdom to enhance his overall punting skills. Joshua had a brief layoff in 2020 to pursue his golf career, but during this time, he realized how much he loved the racing game and decided to return to it on a professional level. Joshua credits his success to hard work and dedication, as well as to RacingRant, which taught him how to study the form, judge the market, and stake correctly. For the past two years, Josh has focused on NSW provincial and country racing, as he believes there is less variance and a greater edge. Joshua’s secret to good punting is being mentally resilient enough to be patient through adversity and sticking to what you know.
