Clinton Payne
Clinton Payne is Racenet’s longest serving employee after joining the business back in 2003. One of Australia's most respected racing journalists, he’s been a profitable punter year-on-year for the best part of his career on Australia’s Number 1 online horse racing platform. Long hours and hard work doing the form have been the secret to success. Clint calls it ‘360 degrees analysis’ as he aims to find value when assessing a race. He believes that by finding horses that are over the odds, the laws of probability put you in front. When assessing form for a meeting, Clint works through multiple layers of analysis. He starts with a raw set of ratings and adjusts these ratings based on form factors including speed maps and sectionals, as well as videos insights, to eventually arrive at his preferred selections.
