Exclusive Loss Rebate Offer – Terms and Conditions

Betfair Pty Limited’s (Betfair’s) Exclusive Loss Rebate Offer (the Offer) is governed by the following Terms and Conditions.

The following customers are not eligible to participate in the Offer:

• South Australian customers; and
• customers that were not sent the Offer via email or SMS by Betfair.

By participating in the Offer, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

LOSS REBATE OFFER: HOW IT WORKS AND QUALIFYING CRITERIA

OPTING IN

• Eligible customers will get sent an email and will not need to opt-in to the Offer.
• The Offer will run from the communicated offer start date (Offer Start Date) to the communicated offer end date (inclusive) (Offer End Date) specified in the Offer communication (Offer Time Frame).

HOW IT WORKS?

• Customers will be eligible for a loss rebate on their total Net Profit and Loss where they have a negative Gross Profit and Loss across all specified racing markets outlined in the Offer that settle during the Offer Time Frame (Qualifying Markets), up to a specified cap amount (Loss Rebate Cap) and specified percentage on losses (Loss Rebate Percentage) during the Offer Time Frame.
• Customers will need to have a net Loss, with respect to Qualifying Markets, before any commission is deducted during the Offer Time Frame to be eligible for any Loss Rebate (Eligible Profit and Loss).
• Customers need to have a settled bet on all three (3) Qualifying Markets.
• Customers’ eligible Loss Rebate Cap and Loss Rebate Percentage will be communicated in their Offer.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

• Bets will need to be settled during the Offer Time Frame.
• Bets will need to be made on Qualifying Markets.
• Customers need to have a settled bet on all three (3) Qualifying Markets.
• Each settled bet must have a minimum stake of $25.
• Customers will need to have a negative Eligible Profit and Loss amount during the Offer Time Frame.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBLE MARKETS?

The Loss Rebate applies to all markets on the eligible races as specified in the Offer (Qualifying Markets).

WHEN WILL I GET CREDITED?

Any eligible rebates will be credited to customers’ accounts on, or around, 1 business day post the Offer Time Frame concluding.

WHAT IS THE OFFER?

Customers will receive a Loss Rebate on their Net Profit and Loss across Qualifying Markets during the Offer Time Frame provided that the qualifying criteria set out above are met.  As noted above, a Loss Rebate Cap will apply.

Example 1:  

The customer is eligible for a 100% Loss Rebate up to $50 AUD.

The customer bet on the (3) Qualifying Markets.

Eligible Loss Rebate = -$40 x 100% = $40

ARE THERE ANY EXCLUSIONS?

Yes.

Bets placed during the Offer Time Frame but that settle outside of the Offer Time Frame will not be eligible to count toward any Loss Rebate, nor will they be considered part of the Offer.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is agreed that:

• Betfair’s decision on Loss Rebates will be final, and further correspondence will not be entered into;
• if your account is self-excluded or closed for any reason, you will be excluded from the Offer;
• Betfair can, in its absolute discretion and at any point in time:
  • cancel or suspend the Offer;
  • remove you from receiving the Offer, in which case you will no longer be eligible for any Loss Rebates;
  • extend, or shorten, the Offer Time Frame; or
  • amend these Terms and Conditions;
• Betfair shall not be liable for any loss howsoever arising as a result of a customer’s participation in the Offer; and
• outside of the Terms and Conditions outlined above, all other Betfair Terms and Conditions will prevail.
