The race looks to be run at an average to fast speed with Bubble Rock, Zoe’s Promise and Semana the likely pace/leaders. Banana Queen, Opal Ridge, C’est Magique, Miss Joelene and Ausbred Flirth all settle in behind midfield or forward of midfield. Bella Nipotina drawn wide and Maloney will have some early decisions to make. Likely where she settles in run will determine the outcome of this race.

SUMMARY
Although it is a race at group 1 level, this is the easiest race Bella Nipotina has contested for some time. She is well in at the weights against the rest of the field and he last start overall figure and personal best overall figure within the last two years are clearly the best in the race. She deserves another group 1 win however I am concerned about where she might get to in the run from the wide gate.
C’est Magique was impressive for the new stable and J Mac first up and based on that performance looks likely to produce a career PB here herself. Outside of these two runners, I feel any of these could win the race so I am happy to risk the fave Bella Nipotina at around $3 as I am doubtful she will have an easy run throughout.
