{"id":9336,"date":"2023-07-14T10:52:37","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T00:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.betfair.com.au\/hub\/?p=9336"},"modified":"2023-11-16T16:41:09","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T05:41:09","slug":"racing-and-sports-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.betfair.com.au\/hub\/uncategorized\/racing-and-sports-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Racing and Sports Discount Rate Offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"education-content border-b pb-10 block\">\n      \n          <div class=\"education-content__row my-3\">\n        <div class=\"container reduced-width\">\n          <p>Betfair Pty Limited\u2019s (<strong>Betfair<\/strong>) Racing and Sports Discount Rate Offer (<strong>Discount Rate Offer<\/strong>) is governed by the following Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The following customers are not eligible to participate in the Offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South Australian customers;<\/li>\n<li>Betfair employees and\/or family members of Betfair employees;<\/li>\n<li>customers that were not sent the Offer via email or SMS by Betfair; and<\/li>\n<li>customers that did not opt in to the Offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By participating in the Offer, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE OFFER: HOW IT WORKS AND QUALIFYING CRITERIA <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OPTING IN <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>customers will get sent an email with the option to opt in to either a Racing and Sports Cash Draws Offer (<strong>Cash Draws Offer<\/strong>) or a Racing and Sports Discount Rate Offer (<strong>Discount Rate Offer<\/strong>) for the duration of the Qualifying Offer Time Frame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to be eligible for either the <strong>Cash Draws Offer<\/strong> or the <strong>Discount Rate Offer<\/strong>, customers will need to opt in to one of the offers by 11:59:59pm 19 November 2023 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Discount Rate Offer will run from 12:00:01am 20 November 2023 Australian Eastern Daylight Time to 11:59:59pm 17 December 2023 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) (<strong>Qualifying Offer Time Frame<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is also noted that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a customer\u2019s first opt in choice to either offer will be taken as their selection.<\/li>\n<li>once either the Cash Draws Offer or the Discount Rate Offer is opted in to, customers will be eligible for that offer for the duration of Qualifying Offer Time Frame and will be unable to change their eligible offer.<\/li>\n<li>at the commencement of the first Qualifying Offer Period<strong>, <\/strong>all eligible Discount Rate Offer customers will receive an upfront minimum 10% Discount Rate which will remain in place for the duration of the Qualifying Offer Time Frame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFYING CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To eligible for the stated Discount Rate in the Discount Rate Offer customers will need to satisfy the following criteria each Qualifying Offer Period:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>during each of the Qualifying Offer Periods customers will need to bet at least the <strong>Minimum Qualifying Bet Amount <\/strong>to receive a discount rate corresponding to the amount of Qualifying Offer Period they have met the <strong>Minimum Qualifying Bet Amount<\/strong>. The Minimum Qualifying Bet Amount will be stated in each customers email outlining the offer; <u>and<\/u><\/li>\n<li>bets will need to be settled during the Qualifying Offer Period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBLE MARKETS?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This offer applies to all markets offered on the Betfair Exchange (<strong>Qualifying Markets<\/strong>) and that settle during the Qualifying Offer Time Frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IS THE OFFER? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of each of the Qualifying Offer Periods, Betfair will assess eligible customers progress towards the <strong>Minimum Qualifying Bet Amount<\/strong> and whether they are eligible to obtain an increased discount rate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is noted that any and all eligible discount rates will be applied the following business day post the conclusion of \u00a0each Qualifying Offer Period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table width=\"374\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\"><strong>Qualifying Offer Periods bet into <\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"125\"><strong>Minimum Qualifying Bet Amount met<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"125\"><strong>Discount Rate<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\">0<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">N\/A<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">10.0%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\">1<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">Yes<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">20.0%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\">2<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">Yes<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">25.0%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\">3<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">Yes<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">30.0%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"125\">4<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">Yes<\/td>\n<td width=\"125\">35.0%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When will I be receive my discount rate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Any qualifying discount rate will be applied on the customer\u2019s account one business day after the Qualifying Offer Periods has concluded.
