{"id":73980,"date":"2025-12-22T14:25:28","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T03:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.betfair.com.au\/hub\/?p=73980"},"modified":"2025-12-22T14:25:31","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T03:25:31","slug":"harness-draw-offer-terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.betfair.com.au\/hub\/uncategorized\/harness-draw-offer-terms-and-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Harness Draw Offer \u2013 Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"education-content border-b pb-10 block\">\n      \n          <div class=\"education-content__row my-3\">\n        <div class=\"container reduced-width\">\n          <p><strong><u>Harness Draw Offer \u2013 Terms and Conditions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Betfair Pty Limited\u2019s (<strong>Betfair\u2019s<\/strong>) Harness Draw Offer (<strong>the Offer<\/strong>) is governed by the following Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The following customers are not eligible to participate in the Offer and will not receive any prize:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South Australian customers;<\/li>\n<li>Betfair employees; and<\/li>\n<li>Customers that were not sent the offer via email or SMS by Betfair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By participating in the Offer, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Offer \u2013 How it works and Qualifying Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Opting In<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers will get sent an email and must opt-in to the Offer by the opt-in date specified in the offer communications to be eligible for the Offer during the Qualifying Time Frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers will be able to generate Cash Draw Tickets (<strong>Tickets<\/strong>) across all Australian and New Zealand harness racing markets offered on the Betfair Exchange that settle between 12:00:01 am Monday 1 January 2026 AEDT (<strong>Offer Start Date<\/strong>) and 11:59:59 pm Sunday 1 February 2026 AEDT inclusive (<strong>Offer End Date<\/strong>)(<strong>Qualifying Time Frame<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Customers are able to generate Tickets on all Australian and New Zealand Harness racing markets offered on the Betfair Exchange (<strong>Qualifying Markets<\/strong>) that settle during the Qualifying Time Frame.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generating Tickets<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For each Qualifying Market bet into in, customers will earn two (2) Tickets for every cumulative $10 AUD matched and staked (which can be made up of back bets or lay bet stake) across all selections in that respective market (<strong>Qualifying Pre-Play Volume<\/strong>) before the start of the race. BSP bets will be considered pre-play bets for the purposes of qualifying for Tickets (<strong>Qualifying Pre-Play Tickets<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>For each Qualifying Market bet into in, customers will earn one (1) Ticket for every cumulative $10 AUD matched and staked (which can be made up of back bets or lay bet stake) across all selections in that respective market (<strong>Qualifying In-Play Volume<\/strong>) at odds at 1.11 and above during the race (<strong>Qualifying In-Play Tickets<\/strong>). By \u2018in-play\u2019, we mean when the market is currently flagged as \u2018in-play\u2019 in the market view on the Betfair website or mobile application.<\/p>\n<p>Customers that are deemed to be trading on a selection will be subject to different qualifying volume criteria, where the Qualifying Pre-Play Volume or Qualifying In-Play Volume will be calculated based on the net exposure of the a customer has on that given selection for a given market. See \u2018Examples of generating Tickets in a market\u2019 below for examples.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum number of Tickets that can be generated per market by any given customer will be capped at 5,000 Tickets (i.e. $50,000 AUD total in back bets and lay stake value) (<strong>Market Level Ticket Cap<\/strong>). See \u2018<strong>Examples of generating Tickets in a market\u2019<\/strong> below for examples.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum number of Tickets that can be generated by any given customer across the totality of the Offer will be capped at 100,000 Tickets (<strong>Offer Ticket Cap<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>It is also noted that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in-play bets and bets placed at the BSP are included;<\/li>\n<li>unmatched bets will not count towards the Qualifying Pre-Play Volume or Qualifying In-Play Volume calculations; and<\/li>\n<li>any bets placed on Qualifying Markets before the Offer Start Date, that settle during the Qualifying Timeframe, are still eligible to generate Tickets<strong>; <\/strong>and<\/li>\n<li>in-play volume back bets at odds of less than 1.10 are excluded from the scope of Qualifying In-Play Volume calculations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For eligible customers, Betfair will be allocating a prize as per the prize schedule below.<\/p>\n<p>The draw winner will be determined by a random number generator drawing conducted by Betfair on Monday 2 February 2026 at 15:30:00 pm AEDT at Betfair&#8217;s Melbourne Office (Level 13\/565 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000).<\/p>\n<p>The prize winner will be contacted on, or around Monday 2 February 2026 by Betfair by phone call using the registered phone number attached to their registered Betfair account in which the customer was active during the Qualifying Time Frame.<\/p>\n<p>Upon being contacted by Betfair, the 1<sup>st<\/sup> place prize winner will need to verbally accept the offer by Tuesday 17 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The prize breakdown will be as follows:<\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-table-wrap\"><table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"148\"><strong>Place<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"274\"><strong>Prize (AUD)<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"148\">1<sup>st<\/sup><\/td>\n<td width=\"274\">&#8211; Paid economy return flights from an Australian major city to Brisbane, organised at Betfair\u2019s discretion (up to the value of $1,000 AUD);<\/p>\n<p>-Paid 2 night accommodation for two, organised at Betfair\u2019s discretion (up to the value of $600 AUD); and<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A slot share for the winner for the Ultimate Drivers Championship on February 20 -21 2026 at Albion Park (estimated value up to $1,000 AUD).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is also noted that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>prizes are not convertible to cash;<\/li>\n<li>if the prize winner is unable to claim the prize, no re-drawing of the prize will occur;
