Flying since joining the Maher-Eustace camp. G3 winner last prep, then 2nd beaten a nose in the G1 Manikato and 3rd to Nature Strip in the G1 VRC Sprint. Pulled up lame first up in the Oakleigh Plate which explains the below par run. Big chance here.

4. In The Congo

Talented galloper who won the G1 Golden Rose for us last prep. Capable of winning this first up.

6. Away Game

Iron mare who just keeps putting in. 2nd beaten 0.5L in G1 level last start.

8. Isotope

4yo Deep Field mare trained by Tony Gollan. Super impressive first up off a 273-day break and a colic attack and just bolted in to win the $1m 1200m race at Magic Millions. Currently only a Listed winner and a G2 placegetter, but she looks a G1 mare any day of the week. She’s beaten quality horses such as Odeum, Away Game, Prague, Apache Chase. Wet track a query. The one to beat.

10. Minhaaj

Flew last prep in two runs for new trainer J O’shea, winning at G3 level both times. Has excuses first up in the Oakleigh Plate. Can bounce back here.

11. Paulele

Multiple G2/G3 winning sprinter. Nice win first up in the Eskimo Prince. Can figure.

15. Shelby Sixtysix

Ran 2nd at WFA 2 starts back beaten 0.3L by Eduardo and beating home the World’s Best Sprinter in Nature Strip. Then won a G3 last start by 1.3L. Have to take on face value. Flying
