Betting Forecast

$5 Shuil Royale, $5.5 Realt Mor, $7.5 Ericht, $11 Astracad, Eastlake, $13 Dunraven Storm, Bennys Mist, $15 Notarfbad, $17 Cody Wyoming, Danimix

Analyst’s Verdict

Realt Mor put it all together and duly resumed winning ways in decisive fashion at Down Royal last week and still looks well treated under a penalty. He gets the narrow vote in the hope his jumping holds up. Ericht is feared on the back of his Newbury second along with Aintree-scorer Shuil Royale, whilst Astracad, who boasts a decent record fresh, also demands a second look.

$4.3 Sizing Codelco, $7 Bold Henry, $8 Monbeg River, $9 Pairofbrowneyes, Impulsive American, $12 Next Sensation, $13 De Faoithesdream, $15 Bally Longford, Johnny Og, $26 Un Beau Roman

Analyst’s Verdict

Sizing Codelco shaped well on his final start for Henry de Bromhead, keeping on well for third at Punchestown during the spring. The likely strong pace here should play to his strengths on that evidence and he is selected on debut for Colin Tizzard. Pairofbrowneyes makes plenty of each-way appeal back in handicap company, whilst Monbeg River also demands respect.

$3.5 Barters Hill, $5.5 Rock The Kasbah, $7 Its’afreebee, $7.5 Flying Angel, $9 O O Seven, $11 Sizing Tennessee, $13 Theinval

Analyst’s Verdict

Barters Hill was bordering on smart over hurdles last season, but this strong, lengthy gelding could be an even better chaser in the making, and he is a very exciting recruit to fences. This won’t be an easy introduction though, with plenty already having useful form in this sphere, most notably Rock The Kasbah and Flying Angel.

$3.75 Baden, $5 Spiritofthegames, $7.5 Wholestone, $8 West Approach, $9 Peregrine Run, $12 Pilansberg, $17 Leith Hill Lad, $23 Crosshue Boy, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

A race with a fine history of producing future high-class types and Baden is fancied to put his name on the roll of honour with a first success over hurdles on his return for an in-form yard. Spiritofthegames impressed when winning at Ayr and looks a jumper to follow. He is expected to run a big race, while thriving Irish raider Peregrine Run can’t be written off seeking a 4-timer.

Betting Forecast

$10 Debece, $13 Wildmoor Boy, Excellent Result, Lou Vert, $15 Air Horse One, Ballinure, Kk Lexion, Tudor City, $17 Magna Cartor, $19 Thomas Blossom, $21 Sarpech, Washed Ashore, $23 Runyon Rattler, $26 Arty Campbell, $29 Counterfeiter, Jazzy, Mac Gregory, $51 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

It was disappointing that Debece failed to land the odds at Southwell last month, but his debut win and earlier bumper ability shouldn’t be forgotten, and his opening mark could prove on the lenient side. Wildmoor Boy has been in good form for some time now, while we may not have seen the best of Air Horse One or Lou Vert yet.

Betting Forecast

$7 What A Moment, $10 Silvergrove, Our Sox, $13 Fayette County, $15 Long Lunch, Kilfinichen Bay, Your Busy, Troika Steppes, $17 Top Wood, $19 Saint Raph, $23 Twirling Magnet, Bertie Boru, $26 Capard King, Godsmejudge, $29 For ‘n’ Against, Themanfrom Minella

Analyst’s Verdict

Silvergrove missed his intended reappearance over hurdles last week, but he was progressive over fences last season, and may yet have more to offer, so is just preferred to What A Moment, who may find this competitive big-field scenario too much on just his second start over fences. Our Sox and the potentially well treated Bertie Boru make up the shortlist.
