Betting Forecast

$5 Mcerin, $7.5 It Dont Come Easy, $8 Santry, $11 Havana Grey, $12 Nine Below Zero, $15 True Blue Moon, $19 Frozen Angel, $21 Cardsharp, $23 Koditime, Consequences, $29 Rock of Estonia, $34 Viscount Loftus, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

The form of Santry’s win at York has been boosted by the second and fourth (both rivals here) scoring since. He has more to offer and can give Declan Carroll a first Royal Ascot winner. The US horse McErin demands plenty of respect for a yard that won this in 2013, while It Dont Come Easy and Sandown 1-2 Havana Grey and Frozen Angel have strong claims also.

$5 Mirage Dancer, $6.5 Benbatl, $7.5 Irishcorrespondent, $12 Orderofthegarter, $13 Bay of Poets, Tamleek, $15 Taj Mahal, $21 Larchmont Lad, Gold Spinner, $23 Rodaini, $34 Speedo Boy, Grey Britain, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute took this in 2009 and 2014 and has another credible candidate in the shape of Mirage Dancer . The son of Frankel was a good winner of a Doncaster maiden last term and shaped better than the bare result when fourth in the Dee Stakes at Chester last month. He’s one to keep on the right side, with Irishcorrespondent, Orderofthegarter, Bay of Poets and Benbatl others to consider.

Ribblesdale Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1m3f211y 12:40am

$4 Alluringly, $4.5 Mori, $8 Coronet, $12 Astronomy’s Choice, $13 Naughty Or Nice, $15 Hertford Dancer, $23 Serenada, $26 Coconut Creme, Gracious Diana, $29 Rich Legacy, $34 The Sky Is Blazing, $51 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

The beautifully-bred Mori has come a long way in such a short space of time, looking every inch a patternclass performer at Goodwood 4 weeks ago, and the step up to 1½m looks set to unlock further improvement. Alluringly has solid form after her third in the Oaks and has to be respected, while Gracious Diana remains with potential having got stuck in the mud at Newbury last month.

$2 Order of St George, $10 Big Orange, $12 Simple Verse, $15 Sheikhzayedroad, $17 Sweet Selection, $26 Endless Time, Quest For More, Harbour Law, Torcedor, $51 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Order of St George was most impressive in this 12 months ago and will surely take a lot of stopping as he bids to become the first back-to-back winner since the same connections’ Yeats. For those who prefer to play at bigger odds last year’s third Sheikhzayedroad, who also won a Group 2 here last autumn, should go well again. The admirable Big Orange and Sweet Selection complete the shortlist.

Betting Forecast

$10 Son of The Stars, $13 City of Joy, $15 Leader’s Legacy, $17 Ronald R, Tricorn, $19 Afaak, $21 Colibri, $23 The Grape Escape, Gilgamesh, Sabador, $26 Horroob, Indian Dandy, Bless Him, $29 Rusumaat, Maths Prize, Capezzano, $34 Medahim, Omran, Lightening Fast, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Several of these make plenty of appeal, none more so than Son of The Stars . Signs of inexperience were still evident when he was narrowly outpointed by Ronald R at Newmarket and, with improvement anticipated, Richard Hannon’s charge can be expected to reverse the placings here. Hat-trick seekers Leader’s Legacy, Afaak and City of Joy are all live dangers, while Tricorn also makes the shortlist.

King George V Handicap (2) 1m3f211y 2:35am

Betting Forecast

$7 Atty Persse, $10 Sofia’s Rock, $11 Master Singer, $15 First Nation, Tartini, $17 Good Omen, Mister Manduro, Homesman, $19 Bin Battuta, $21 Shymkent, Drochaid, $23 Bear Valley, Utah, $26 Never Surrender, $29 Janszoon, $34 Oasis Charm, Reachforthestars, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

It’s hard to know exactly what Master Singer achieved when demolishing inferior opposition at Newcastle last month, but the manner of the victory was very taking and it’s highly likely we haven’t seen the best of him yet. He gets the nod in a typically competitive renewal. Atty Persse is feared most, despite his wide draw, with Sofia’s Rock and Tartini next on the list of dangers
