Racing Watch – www.racingwatch.com.au

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Warwick Farm Race 5 #2 Top Of My List

Walter Says: “Promising mare that was certainly unlucky first up when given a negative ride. Now shows up here second up at 1600m on a rain-affected surface. She has all the talent in the world but looks to have a few quirks and combining that with a lack of fitness she is giving away to a few here, I just have to be against her at close to even money.”

Champion Bets – www.championbets.com.au

Nathan Snow – @snowbet – Warwick Farm – Race 2 #3 Golden Spear

Snow Says: “Hit the line OK under pressure in its most recent trial and looks to have some sort of ability, but today there is a few things against it. Its missed the start in all three trials so is likely to be back over 1000m here and looks a type better suited to 1200m+ deeper in its preparation. Finds a race with a few trialling OK, so looks too short at $3.00”

Punting Form – www.puntingform.com.au

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Ascot – Race 1 #1 Dazzling Poet

Baker Says: “Drops from 1200m to 1000m at start number two. Showed no real early pace over 1200m, so it is hard to see it taking up a prominent position from barrier seven here. In fact, nothing from the debut performance indicates that it should be as short as it is in early markets. Kiss Bang Love looks the winner from the raced brigade and any first starter with average ability must be a threat.”

Queensland Trials – www.queenslandtrials.com.au

Chris Nelson – @qldtrials  – Eagle Farm – Race 8 #6 Final Zero

Nelson Says: “An impressive winner here two starts back over 1200m, she looked to have every chance before being run down by a noted wet tracker on a Good rated Doomben track out to 1350m last time out. Today, she takes the further step up to 1500m and although the rail out suits her pattern I would suggest it’s too much of a stretch and she’ll be a sitting shot late in the straight.”

Horse Racing Professionals – www.horseracingprofessionals.com.au

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff  – Ascot – Race 1 #1 Dazzling Poet

McMurray Says: “Although finishing third on debut I didn’t think Dazzling Poet hit the line with much purpose. That run come off the back of what I thought were a couple of average trials. This race looks difficult, Kiss Bang Love returns after a very unlucky debut against a quality field. A number of the field have showed good ability at the trials including Reykjavik, In The Bag, Wise Monkey, Fire Ant and Velvet Vixen. At around $1.80, the early favourite looks a great lay.”

racebk – www.racebk.com

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Bathurst Harness – Race 4 #2 Rocknroll Angel

Krahe Says: “In a two horse race, she looks the logical leader again but this time Fouroeight (main Danger) will have its back. I doubt she has the turn of foot to hold that runner out.”

Rick Williams Racing – www.rickwilliamsracing.com

Rick Williams – @rwilliamsracing – Sandown – Race 1 #6 Club Tropicana

Williams Says: “Tricky draw today in barrier 9 of 11 and looks likely to be hooked back from the start or being wide if they try to push forward. Can finish races off well but may end up too far back here to figure.”

Macbet- www.macbet.com.au

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Eagle Farm – Race 3 #1 Bound For Love

McLeod Says: “Bound For Love trialled fair for her return to racing today. I think she may need a little sting out of the track to produce her best and the weight here will make it tough for her. The $1.65 on offer is short enough for mine and I will be taking her on.”

Racetrack Ralphy – www.racetrackralphy.com.au

Ralph Horowitz – @rtralphy – Sandown – Race 7 #9 Raptor

Horowitz Says: “Were it not for the trainer/jockey combo he would be at least twice the five range odds he is at morning posting time for mine. Won his debut (in blinkers) at Cranbourne in very plain time by a nose after baulking at the start and ridden in traffic. It is a low percentage play over-rating what they ‘could have’ done.

Here he takes on tough, hard fit older horses who have good tactical speed, as he steps up from 1300m to the mile on what will be a baking Sandown Lakeside track in the heat. In those situations it’s usually hard to make up ground if ridden back, while if he’s allowed to or if forced to go forward it will be a challenge sustaining his performance off one soft run at the shorter trip.”

Ratings2Win – www.ratings2win.com.au

Paul Daily – @PaulD01 – Sandown – Race 3 #2 Consommateur

Daily Says: “Resumes here off a 313-day spell over 1400m. Combine that with his likely map position and you have a mare that should be longer than the $3.40 on offer. Other market chances have better ratings than her to date so I’m happy to be against her at the early market price. ”
