ProLays: Wednesday 6th June 2018

Every week on The Hub, professional punters from across the country will be nominating their LAY of the week.

Get the latest LAY nominations for Wednesday 6th June below:

Winning Edge Investments –

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff  – Sandown Race 2 #9 Californiagrandcru

McMurray Says: “Had every possible latest and just fair to the line. High Energy after no luck last few looks the clear on top here. Throw in Madalay Bay and Sasko and this looks a hard race for the second favourite. At around the $4-5.00 looks a good lay for mine.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Gold Coast Race 8 #9 Make Her Own Whey

Baker Says: “Too short in this BM65 despite having map to suit. Finds it hard to break through with only three wins from 32 starts.  Is better suited to the 1100m rather than 1200m.  Happy to take on at the price.”

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Canterbury Race 1 #2 Im A Legend

Walter Says: “Simply choosing this on price alone. He is a very one paced type that is always battling away. Has trialled up solidly since a modest first up performance. Finds what looks a soft enough race on paper – but he still has to put it together on race day. Happy to oppose at very short odds.”

Racing Rant –

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Canterbury Race 7 #5 Bringagem

Lambourne Says: “Assisted provincial win last start, quick back up won’t overcome lack of seasoning for this distance and the likely early intensity looks uncomfortable.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Gold Coast Race 8 #9 Make Her Own Whey

McLeod Says: “Make Her Own Whey has a chink in her armour. The 1200m is a concern and there are one or two others that I have shorter than this favourite, happy to be against.”

racebk –

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Terang Harness Race 2 #2 Young Janie

Krahe says: “Has gate speed and can lead however isn’t overly brave. Will have a quick one on its back, and the ones drawn to its outside are better horses. I actually have this horse last pick in the race and it has come up equal 2nd favourite in pre-post markets.”

Paul Daily – @PaulD01

Dickos Mailbag –

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Sandown Race 8 #8 Groovin

Dickens Says: “Opened $2.70, already out to $4 and expecting the drift continues. The horse has 1 positive and that’s Michael Dee who is flying. It came home quickish last start off a walking tempo. Has yet to do anything near most here. Could not dream of backing it at anything under $6. Must be a lay.”

Winning Edge Investments –

John Lawson – @Johns_Analytics – Sandown Race 8 #8 Groovin

Lawson Says: “Won nicely here two starts back in a BM70 race carrying 59kg before a good run at Bendigo when not beaten far. Up to a BM78 and to carry 55.5kg in this so looks suited but I’ve got her priced $7.00 and can’t go anywhere near the current price of around $4.00. I really like I Boogi in this race and have had a saver on I Am The Dark so lots of good reasons to oppose Groovin.”

Champion Bets –

Trevor Lawson – @lunchandpunt – Sandown Race 2 #9 Californiagrandcru

Lawson Says: “Just a plodder for mine who has no significant ratings, Looks short odds again in early markets. Keen to oppose”
