ProLays: Wednesday 13th June 2018

Every week on The Hub, professional punters from across the country will be nominating their LAY of the week.

Get the latest LAY nominations for Wednesday 13th June below:

Winning Edge Investments – www.winningedgeinvestments.com

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff  – Warwick Farm Race 3 #1 Tswalu

McMurray Says: “Tswalu has come up short given it resumes on a heavy track. Meets a couple here in Florid and Mad Hatter that look suited on form, fitness and weights. Happy to oppose for those reasons.”

Punting Form – www.puntingform.com.au

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Toowoomba Race 3 #3 Go Dixie

Baker Says: “Back to the 1625 for today’s assignment.  I feel Go Dixie will be too dour late for a couple of his opponents. They will have the drop on him and should run him down the straight. As such, Go Dixie is too short.”

Macbet- www.macbet.com.au

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Toowoomba Race 7 #1 Mr Markou

McLeod Says: “Mr Markou meets a different class of horse here today. He will probably lead but there is a bit of pressure to come from San Sierra, so I’m happy to lay today or bet against.”

racebk – www.racebk.com

Ben Krahe – @benkrahe – Melton Harness Race 5 #5 Western Glory

Krahe says: “Although Western Glory has good gate speed and may lead I only have it 4th or 5th pick in my ratings. Won on debut when leading at Kilmore at nearly $18 and has run in harder grade since however is 1st up for nearly five months today. The two I really am interested in here are HARPAGUS who is an ex-Kiwi, and has had two starts so far in Australia without luck but has trialled well (albeit behind Western Glory). The Gavin Land stable is really on fire at the moment too and Melton may suit and also WATTABOUT RIOLI who has had only the 4 starts for 2 x 2nds – the latest a good one in 1.55.6 at Maryborough.”

Paul Daily – @PaulD01  – Warwick Farm Race 1 #1 Highjacker

Daily says: “Only had the one career start which was at this venue back in December where he settled 4-5 lengths off them and weakened out of the contest in the worst part of the track. Started $8.00 BSP on debut and despite having had two trials over 1050m this time in would need to improve substantially to justify his current fixed odds of $4.20.”

Winning Edge Investments – www.winningedgeinvestments.com.au

John Lawson – @Johns_Analytics – Warwick Farm Race 3 #7 El Dorado Mine

Lawson Says: “Is only two wins from 19 starts but is consistent enough in lower grade. Resumes from a let up here and ran 2nd in a recent trial but has never performed on wet tracks and I have it rated last of the 7 so have to be hard against at the $6.50 on offer.”

Champion Bets – www.championbets.com.au

Trevor Lawson – @lunchandpunt – Sandown Race 3 #4 Jessamin

Lawson Says: “On the quick back up from Saturday, where she led in moderately run before tiring in straight. Drawn the inside here which may be a negative. Looks well found in early markets.”

Racing Watch – www.racingwatch.com.au

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Warwick Farm Race 4 #2 Connoisseur

Walter Says: “Resumes from a 123-day spell here over a distance that has been his maximum winning trip to this point. Two trials in readiness is a positive – but still faces a solid test first up fitness wise. Draws awkwardly and happy to risk him fresh on this surface in what looks an evenly graded race.”

Racing Rant – www.racingrant.com

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Warwick Farm Race 1 #4 Sparkly Star

Lambourne Says: “Gelded and trialling brilliantly, but surely has the worst form set of any Metropolitan even money chance ever seen.”

Dickos Mailbag – dickosmailbag.store

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Sandown Race 5 #11 Flash Cash

Dickens Says: “Up in grade with Ben Melham jumping off for sneaky Cranbourne ride 1st up (been backed) in Epic Moment! Craig Williams gets on who’s out of touch ATM. They’ve “Knifed” the straight today which has to limit the confidence in predicting who will and who won’t be suited. On a lean card I couldn’t touch the $5 about Flash Cash who’s only tick is he recorded the fastest Last 600m at Sale, If they are running on I become less keen to Lay.”
