Pro Lays: Wednesday 29th November 2017

Every week on The Hub, professional punters from across the country will be nominating their LAY of the week.

Get the latest LAY nominations for Wednesday 22nd November below.

Meet the team of pro punters here

Horse Racing Professionals –

Geoff McMurray – @McMurray_Geoff – Gawler Race 4 # 3 Red Dazzle

McMurray Says: “Comes into this on the back of two very plain runs. I don’t believe the step up in distance suits. I have Ballast on top here with Cobbmore and Supreme Polarity not far behind. At its current price of around $4-5, Red Dazzle looks a pretty good lay.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Wyong 5 #5 Geneteau

Baker Says: “Is returning from a spell with a record of 1 win from 12 career starts. Won a recent barrier trial over 790m by a good margin, but I think that is being over valued by the market. Has never run better than average figures and is weak at the end of its races. Happy to take it on.”

Racing Rant –

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Wyong Race 3 #6 Gracefilly

Lambourne Says: “After six trials found a sympathetic circuit to win on debut. Steps up to a faster contest and pinned away with an unsuitable rails draw.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbet – Wyong Race 3 #6 Gracefilly

Snow Says: “Had the bias in its favour when able to lead and hang on in a very ordinary maiden at Gosford at its only start. Likely to get crossed here in a fast race and this much stronger than last time.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Gold Coast Race 1 #4 Dvina

McLeod Says: “Dvina didn’t beat a lot last time at the Sunshine Coast and this is definitely tougher. $2.8 looks under the odds to me.”

racebk -

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Redcliffe Race 5 #1 Train Wreck

Krahe Says: “Has won only 4/30 with 14 placings so that in itself tells a story. Won from the chair last time in a C0, however is up in grade here to a C1-C2. The main danger is drawn its back and may be too quick for it late. Throw in the fact there is a few others with very good hopes, I’m happy to take this on as favourite.”

Ratings2Win -

Paul Daily – @PaulD01 – Wyong 5 #5 Geneteau

Daily Says: “Resumes off a 172-day spell having trialled well recently at Kembla in clearly the fastest time and sectionals of the day. From gate 1 is likely to get well back and the current fixed odds of $2.35 seems rock bottom. The market seems to be thinking she can get back to her 2YO ratings which is possible but given the setup she seems worth risking at the price.”

Dickos Mailbag –

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Wyong 5 #2 Fanning

Dickens Says: “Back in trip 12-10 5th up. Likely leads but pace is hot & he should be hassled up front. ”
