Meet the team of pro punters here

Winning Edge Investments –

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff – Rosehill Race 6 #5 Merovee

McMurray Says: “Was just OK through line first up and have Kaonic and Onslaught clearly on top here. Happy to be against Merovee at around the $3 quote which looks very tight in market.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Bendigo Race 1 #8 Dazzling Rain

Baker Says: “A maiden race over 2400m does not appeal as a race to have an even money favourite in. Dazzling Rain has had two recent tries over 2500m and not finished off particularly strongly on either occasion. Can identify a few other hopes; so happy to take on Dazzling Rain as a pronounced favourite in a race of this type.”

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Rosehill R1 #11 Wagner

Walter Says: “First starter for the in-form Godolphin camp. Winner of his only two trials over the 740m trip in average time. Certainly looks to have ability, but nowhere near impressive enough to justify the early odds on quote for mine. 1100m here on a soft surface should provide a solid test and there do look to be other runners with at least solid ability. Happy to be around him at the early quote.”

Racing Rant –

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Rosehill Race 7 #2 Reach For Heaven

Lambourne Says: “Well held at the corresponding meeting last year at short odds by Nothing Box. Twelve months on, remains winless in town and while excused by the bias last start, is drawn most unfavourably today.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Ipswich Race 7 #4 Green Luck

McLeod Says: “Green Luck won his Maiden last time when we tipped him but has come up very short in the Market off that win. This is tougher and a few on the pace here have better credentials.”

racebk -

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Shepparton Harness Race 8 #2 Nieta

Krahe says: “Won two in a row (the second one in very controversial circumstances after breaking and knocking down most of the field), before an eighth in this grade when leading last tie. They did go very fast time, but there are a few handy ones here in this field. Not sure this horse is right up in the very ‘A grade’. Happy to take it on again even from a good draw.”

Ratings2Win -

Paul Daily – @PaulD01 Ipswich Race 4 #10 Crystal Amor

Daily says: “Only had the three starts and can improve but would need a substantial new peak to justify the current fixed odds of $2.65. I have her second pick in my market but at substantially longer odds so is one I will be avoiding at anything like the current quote.”

Dickos Mailbag –

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Bendigo Race 5 #6 Trojan Storm

Dickens Says: “Horrible last start when right in market, didn’t have easiest run but was still extremely weak late over 1200m. Now 1300m at $2.50 As I type. I couldn’t take near those odds off that run so keen to oppose him here.”

Winning Edge Investments –

John Lawson – @Johns_Analytics – Launceston R2 #12 Westwood

Lawson Says: “Has drawn deep at his first go past a mile but will get back and run on. Is only one from 20 in his career and even though he’s up against some moderate types he’s still going to be giving away a big start so I’m happy to oppose him at the early market price.”

Champion Bets –

Trevor Lawson – @lunchandpunt – Bendigo Race 4 #3 Ensisheim

Lawson Says: “Beaten as short priced favourite first up in a low rating race and nothing outstanding about previous ratings. Looking too other runners in race who have achieved more. Happy to risk at current price of $4.20 on exchange.”
