Pro Lays: Wednesday 10th January 2018

Every week on The Hub, professional punters from across the country will be nominating their LAY of the week.

Get the latest LAY nominations for Wednesday 10th January below.

Winning Edge Investments –

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff – Murray Bridge Race 5 #2 Classy Jack

McMurray Says: “Opposing the old boy here. Runs best when dictates and that isn’t likely here with Ogunde who has an abundance of pace and looks very hard to run down. Then add both Snip of Magic and Wilander Princess getting cosy runs off pace with a load of improvement to come this prep. Multiple negatives here for Classy Jack and happy to oppose at its early quote.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Doomben Race #3 #7 Metis

Baker Says: “Did not show enough at its only race start to justify being at the top of the market here.  There are a number of other lightly raced types, which we would prefer to be backing against the early market favourite, so Laying it looks a good option.”

Racing Rant –

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Canterbury Race 1 #1 Pickelhaube

Lambourne Says: “Well exposed Godolphin 3yo sporting VIC country credentials. Is opposed by a brace of Waller improvers plus a Last-start Metro runner.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohnDoomben Race 8 #12 Francisca

McLeod Says: “Francisca went OK fresh, but today there are a few hurdles to overcome. The major one being where she will end up in the run from barrier 12. Looks under the odds to me at the $1.90..”

racebk -

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Ballarat Harness Race 2 #5 Vasari

Krahe says: “Nice former Kiwi who never ‘fired a shot’ when in NSW. With a new trainer and although has talent, would need to show something before I can get back on board. Throw in the fact, there is a very nice horse in All A Breeze against it. I have to take it on at the short odds for now.”

Ratings2Win -

Paul Daily – @PaulD01 – Away

Dickos Mailbag –

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Sandown race 5, #2 Holy Seal

Dickens Says: “Paraded forward first up and had the benefit of a perfect run in the best part of straight. Won well, but was soft on line in my opinion. Steps up in grade today and meets potential star in Nature Strip who looks ‘a moral’ despite being from the Smerdon stable. Strela is drawn to find great spot in behind the speed also; he paraded with more to come first up as a gelding at Mornington & won easily.”

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Canterbury Race 5 #7 Regine

Walter Says: “Heavily backed last start, given a perfect ride and got the result. This race looks far deeper today and after having the three mile runs already think he may be a little vulnerable late to a few that may be a bit sharper than him. Happy to bet around him at the early price on offer.”

Winning Edge Investments –

John Lawson – @Johns_Analytics – Murray Bridge Race 3 #10 Graceful Intent

Lawson Says: “Has run a couple of OK races from a spell but has an awful record and went around at $51 last start. Is currently $5.00 and I assess its correct price as closer to double that quote.”
