Meet the team of pro punters here

Dickos Mailbag –

Jack Dickens – @dickosmailbag – Flemington Race 2 #3 Invincibella

Dickens Says: “Had the perfect run at the as favourite last start and couldn’t win. She was slow away at Moonee Valley and got away with it. Even with OK gate Speed we would need to see a Positive ride with a hint, a glimmer of intent from Bowman who’s ridden himself out of form. I’m expecting Invincibella to be wide and then back, needing to come from near last in a race in which I can only rule out two or three chances.”

Racing Rant –

Marc Lambourne – @justideal – Randwick Race #5 #9 Aquatic

Lambourne Says: “Resuming. Lacks pace and will map well back in running. Has an unfashionable rider in Ryoya Kozaki, and the horse itself a poor strike rate.”

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Randwick Race 2 #10 Epidemic

Walter Says: “Obviously unlucky first up in a very messy race, but the market seems to have overplayed it for mine. That race in general looks very ‘smelly’ form wise. The filly now rises in distance on a testing surface for the first time and loses the senior rider. There look to be some promising types engaged here and happy to be against her at the early odds with strong queries against.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbet – Randwick Race 2 #10 Epidemic

Snow says: “Had shown little in its first two starts before resuming with a better run at Canterbury when sitting wide and running on OK. However, that was a much weaker race than today with a number trialling very well. Will lay until my account is empty, so if it lobs I may have to snip someone to have a bet in the Cup.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Flemington Race #10 #1 Fuhryk

Baker Says: “Goes into this race off a good win over an 1100m trip at Caulfield. Having said that, it is hardly an ideal lead-up run to a 1400m race at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day. Perhaps the connections just wanted a runner on the day? Prefer others and happy to oppose it.”

Horse Racing Professionals –

Geoff McMurray – @McMurray_Geoff – Flemington Race #5 #1 Property

McMurray Says: “Thought was just fair on resumption. Poorly in at the weights here. Meets a decent field of up and comers headed by Prazedo, Paret, Piracy and William Thomas. Happy to oppose for those reasons.”

Ratings2Win -

Paul Daily – @PaulD01 Flemington Race 6 #6 Warranty

Daily Says: “She is racing in very good form having won her last two starts both at the provincials and at Randwick last time so her form reads well for a race like this. On the downside, this 3yo filly is having her fourth run in her first preparation and her overall and sectional figures in all three starts are a level below what is required to win this and thus justify her current quote of $6.50. Whilst I concede she could improve and race well, others in this race seem to have her measure.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Doomben Race 6 #3 Man In Charge

McLeod Says: “A noted slow beginner and if the track plays anything like it did on Saturday then that becomes a big problem. He didn’t beat a lot at the Sunshine Coast last time so will find it tough here. $4.20 is short enough for mine!!”

racebk -

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Yarra Valley Race #1 #1 Apollon

Krahe Says: “Went OK for Alford last time but had no gate speed whatsoever and there is some outside of him, He made an OK run for about 600m there but the last 100m told. That was his best effort to date, the gate is the concern here. Late driver change to Kima Frenning isn’t a positive one. (but then again, what is when Alford is replaced?).”
