New Zealand Warriors vs Brisbane Broncos

Saturday May 27, 5:30pm AEST – Mt Smart Stadium

Brisbane are missing seven players to Origin duty compared to New Zealand’s one but the Broncos won’t find a better match-up than against the mentally fragile Warriors. New Zealand have managed just three covers this year and are remarkably riding a 10-game non-cover streak in night games at Mt Smart. The Broncos have covered seven of their last eight as an interstate outsider and tend to lift when they are without their Origin players. That toughness should get them home.

Canberra Raiders v Sydney Roosters

Sunday May 28, 4:00pm AEST – GIO Stadium

The Sydney Roosters are playing as well as any team in the premiership with four wins in their last five games. The Chooks have been hit hard by Origin selection but the depth at the club is outstanding with the likes of Connor Watson and Ryan Matterson both elevated to start. The Raiders are a little out of sorts and can be beat.
