Race 2 – Kempton 3:55am
7. Glendevon : Glendevon was an expensive purchase at the breeze-ups earlier in the year and shaped with plenty of promise on debut over this C&D last month. He attracted some support that day, and pulled clear of the third with a potentially smart type under a very considerate ride. That form looks solid, and Glendevon seems sure to improve, so is fancied come out on top. Laieth looks a very interesting newcomer mind, and any notable market support for him would look significant.
BACK – Glendevon
Race 3 – Noble Star 4:25am
3. Noble Star: Noble Star won a maiden at Newcastle last season and has shaped well both starts this season, especially on return from eight months off at Newmarket 18 days ago. He understandably looked a little rusty, but he finished his race off really well, leaving the impression there are handicaps to be won with him off this sort of mark. The return to the all-weather looks sure to suit and he is expected to get back to winning ways, likely at the expense of Multicultural and Sheikspear.

Race 5 – Kempton 5:25am
7. Eldritch: The three-year-olds will likely dominate this and Eldritch gets the vote. He remains open to improvement having won his first two starts and having been gelded since his defeat at Goodwood when last seen. Airway and Ennjaaz were first and second at Chelmsford last month and should go close again, the latter having won on his next start there. Seniority is also a big player.
