Race 3 – Fakenham 1:05am
2. Lift The Lid: Has not had many starts to date and is worth another chance after seemingly not getting home over 22 furlongs at Cartmel when last seen on his handicap debut (sent off at 7/1).
He has been given a break since, and remains an interesting handicapping prospect now back at two miles. Skylark Lady was lit up in first-time cheekpieces here last time and could run better now blinkered and with Aidan Coleman taking over in the saddle.

Race 4 – Fakenham 1:35am
1. Final Nudge: Join The Clan sets the standard over fences on his third behind Bristol de Mai at Leicester last season and will be suited by three miles but the most talented horse in the field is chasing debutant Final Nudge, who was second behind subsequent Albert Bartlett winner Unowhatimeanharry in the Grade 2 Bristol Hurdle at Cheltenham last December. He looks the sort to take well to chasing and is an exciting chasing prospect.

Race 6 – Lingfield 1:55am
9. Strong Force: The form of Strong Force’s maiden win at Chelmsford last month could have worked out better and he did rather have the run of things out in front, but he still looks an attractive betting prospect now switched to handicaps and taking on some fairly exposed opponents.
Saeed bin Suroor is in excellent form at present and there is a chance that with a sharp break from stall eight, Strong Force could be seen to good effect out in front once again. Beardwood has been running well over this trip of late and could be a big threat.
