Betting Forecast

$6 Barsanti, $8 Stars Over The Sea, $10 Gold Prince, $15 Yorkidding, Shakopee, Gabrial’s King, Sindarban, Moonmeister, Dominada, $19 Dawn Missile, Mijhaar, $26 Barye, Odeon, $34 Blue Hussar, $51 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Stars Over The Sea seemingly took time to readjust to the Flat after 2 years away from the sphere, but is really thriving at present, following an excellent effort at Glorious Goodwood with a facile success at Pontefract. He is fancied to score again in the opener. Barsanti has done little wrong this year and is a big danger, while Shakopee and Yorkidding are also respected.

Betting Forecast

$3.75 Trip To Paris, $5 Clever Cookie, $5.5 Pallasator, $8.5 Quest For More, Curbyourenthusiasm, $9 Wicklow Brave, $34 Suegioo

Analyst’s Verdict

Trip To Paris wasn’t at his best in this 12 months ago but arrives much fresher this time and is taken to build on his promising Newbury reappearance and show he’s still one of the best stayers around. The locally-trained Clever Cookie has a good record here and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Pallasator is quirky but usually gives his running and is likely to be on the premises.

R3 Sky Bet City of York Stakes (Group 3) (1) 7f 12:05am

Betting Forecast

$4.5 Nemoralia, 5 Librisa Breeze, $6.5 Forge, $12 Flash Fire, So Beloved, Charming Thought, $17 Naadirr, 19 Jallota, Birchwood, $21 Glen Moss, $51 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

A cracking Group 3. Nemoralia has been far from disgraced at the very highest level since her easy 1m listed win at this venue and is probably the one to beat with her sights lowered slightly. Librisa Breeze looks well capable of making his making his mark in pattern company and heads the dangers along with Forge and David O’Meara’s So Beloved.

R4 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes (Group 1) (1) 5f 12:40am

Betting Forecast

$4.5 Limato, $6.5 Mecca’s Angel, $9 Profitable, $12 Yalta, $15 Easton Angel, $19 Brando, Goldream, Take Cover, $23 Washington Dc, $26 Muthmir, Silver Rainbow, $34 Cotai Glory, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Easton Angel looks a pattern-race winner in waiting and could make the breakthrough here with Frankie Dettori taking over. Brando remains unexposed and could surprise, while Profitable is fancied to turn the tables on July Cup winner Limato back over 5f. Mecca’s Angel would come firmly into the reckoning if the ground was to soften, while impressive Molecomb winner Yalta has to be respected.

R5 British Stallion Studs EBF Convivial Maiden Stakes (2) 7f 1:40am

Betting Forecast

$5.5 Rivet, 8 Black Trilby, $9.5 Capezzano, $10 Dance Teacher, $13 Star Stream, $15 Abiento, Via Serendipity, First Up, Max Zorin, $23 Portledge, $26 Celestation, $29 Midaawi, Upgrade, $34 Contrapposto

Analyst’s Verdict

Black Trilby left his debut form well behind when making the frame in a maiden at Glorious Goodwood last month, still showing signs of greenness. He is fancied to improve again and open his account. There are a host of potential improvers and well-bred newcomers to fend off however, with Rivet, Dance Teacher and Abiento of particular interest.

R6 Nationwide Accident Repair Services Stakes (Handicap) (2) 1m 1:55am

Top Rated & Flags

Betting Forecast

$10 Bobby Wheeler, $11 Viscount Barfield, $13 Arcanada, Oh This Is Us, $15 Weekend Offender, Another Touch, $17 Twin Sails, Markhan, Spruce Meadows, $19 Blacklister, Dream Mover, $21 Quick N Quirky, $23 Heir To A Throne, Banksea, Dot Green, $29 Candelisa, Holy Grail, $34 Manson, $41 bar

Analyst’s Verdict

Viscount Barfield gets the nod in a highly competitive finale. A three-time winner in handicap company this year, he scored with something up his sleeve at Chester last time and can add another success to his tally. Bobby Wheeler, Arcanada and Another Touch complete the shortlist.
