LATE MAIL: TENNIS

ATP Miami: T. Machac vs D. Blanch

Darwin Blanch was the second youngest player ever to score an ATP point in February 2022, and while he’s only 16 years old, his game has huge potential. His forehand is huge, and while his serve is, of course, underdeveloped considering his age, he can still be relatively competitive at this level.

It’s a big occasion for him to get to play on the stadium court. The main court is generally a little slower, which doesn’t hurt him. The more time he gets on the forehand, the better.

He’s a regular hitting partner of Carlos Alcaraz and has played competitive matches on the Challenger circuit. 17.5 Games is quite low; Blanch is from Florida and trained in Orlando, so he’ll be used to the heat and humidity. We’ll split our stakes in this matchup.

Betting Strategy

Blanch +6.5 Games – 0.75 units

Over 17.5 games – 0.75 units
