Racing returns to the day time slot in Launceston this Sunday with an 8 race program set to be run on firm ground. All eyes will be on Stella Etoile in race 6 as she tries to lug 63kg to victory before a possible mainland campaign, while the 2yo Aspirate is an interesting runner in race 3 as he is the first 2yo this season to take on the older horses.
Launceston hosts a 7 race program this Wednesday night with the rail moving all the way back to the True position and firm ground expected. Race 6 sees a very competitive field of stayers do battle with many of the main chances having finished together in Hobart.
Racing returns to Hobart on Sunday with a 7 race card kicking off at 1:00pm. The meeting is highlighted by race 6, a 1600m Benchmark82 set to run at 4:00pm where stablemates Beaufort Lad and Zatacla are expected to fight out favouritism after good runs in last month’s Mowbray Stakes.

The Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival continues this Sunday in Launceston with an 8 race card set to kick off at 12:40pm. The highlight is the Group 3 $150,000 Armidale Stud Needs Further Vamos Stakes, which will see Bow Mistress winner Gogo Grace face stiff opposition from local mares Life On The Wire and Gee Gees Top Notch as she tries to do the double.
