QUEEN ELIZABETH STAKES | KEY RUNNERS

1. Mr Brightside – 6-time G1 winner plus an All Star Mile. Ran 2nd in the All Star Mile last start. Had run 1st or 2nd at past 12 starts racing at the highest level before last start 5th when ridden too close and ground too firm. Can improve here.

2. Cascadian – Flew home for 3rd in the All Star Mile, running better closing sectionals than Mr Brightside, before flying home to win he Australian Cup for us. Can repeat the dose here.

4. Lindermann – Rosehill Guineas winner who bolted in to win the Sky High before he track was too wet in the Doncaster. Can place at odds.

7. Pride Of Jenni – Ran them into the ground leading and winning the Empire Rose, Cantala Stakes and All Star Mile, before leading until late when 2nd in the Australian Cup. Leading chance.

8. Via Sistina – Had excellent G1 form in Europe and was purchased for a big sum. Won the Ranvet comprehensively first up thought the race was a walk (26L below par first half) and sprint home. Completely different race shape here but will have improved.

10. Place Du Carrousel – Another imported mare with a G1 win in France and handles the wet. Appears more of a 2400m so the strong tempo may suit. Can figure.
