BACK: 10. Cat Noir (WIN) for 2 unit(s) (Rated at: $4)
Cat Noir brings in the best last start rating in the race, running third behind Quickster and subsequent maiden winner The Shaper at Sandown, she gets back on the home track and will get every chance from the front.

LAY: 8. The Jester’s Son (WIN) for 3 unit(s) (Rated at: $2.45)
I’m more poking a hole in the price of The Jester’s Son, rather than his form. He was unlucky fresh then sat slightly too close to a brutal speed last start at Sandown. He can certainly win but I can’t get him anywhere near the 1.70 quote, I’ll be laying out to 2.15.
RACE 1 | SELECTIONS
2. Etincelle
1. Bons To Riches
6. Courageous Lass
3. Launch Sequence
Betting Strategy
NO BET.
Etincelle has jumped out well for his debut at the booking of Zahra suggests intent. Bons To Riches disappointed on debut but if his jumpouts are anything to go by, he has returned a better horse off his 176-day spell.
RACE 2 | SELECTIONS
3. Xavier
8. Lispector
7. Lady Cugat
4. Boulder Country
Betting Strategy
NO BET.
Little between the peak of Xavier and Lispector for me, the edge to the former, as Lispector was terrible last start, scratched from a wide draw at the track a week and a half ago and saved for this, keep a close watch on the market late.
RACE 3 | SELECTIONS
2. Binotto
3. Don Rubio
10. Born To Shine
6. Tymon
Betting Strategy
NO BET.
I’d be surprised if Binotto wasn’t winning but the market obviously says that too at 1.4. I would consider betting at 1.75-1.80, however if I saw that price late on the exchange, that would create it’s own set of questions.
RACE 4 | SELECTIONS
10. Cat Noir
8. The Jester’s Son
6. Heart Of Zorro
3. African Pioneer

BACK: 5. King’s Capital (WIN) for 2 unit(s) (Rated at: $2.1)
I need black odds to bet and unfortunately the 2.50 has disappeared about King’s Capital, hopefully we see a slight drift late. He had every chance first-up off 295-days but bumped into a smart one relative to BM58 level and the trial here at Geelong prior was full of merit.
RACE 7 | SELECTIONS

No interest, no bet.

2. The Woke Waiter
Betting Strategy
LAY: 3. Floozie (WIN) for 2.25 unit(s) (Rated at: $2)
The case for Floozie is very obvious, she brings in clearly the best form so on and so fourth, I didn’t love her jumpouts and I have a potentially flimsy theory based on a tiny set of data that Price/Kent first-uppers may not as potent as they were a month ago.
