SPEED MAP

Quick speed expected here in the big field.

Electric Girl, Zaaki and Ho O Amazon like to lead. Bandersnatch, Mazu and Lost And Running will all push forward of midfield.

Roch ‘n’ Horse and Giga Kick won’t be too far back.

Jacquinot, Private Eye, Kolding and Cascadian will be the swoopers from the rear.

ALL AGED STAKES | KEY RUNNERS

2. Lost And Running – Solid sixth in the T J Smith first-up. Will strip much fitter here.

3. Private Eye – Epsom Handicap winner who ran 2nd in The Everest last prep. Was ok first-up in the Newmarket then was checked in the T J Smith (although still disappointing). Have to take on trust.

4. Cascadian – Won this race last year and is racing even better this year, running second in the All-Star Mile before winning the Australian Cup.

5. Mazu – Doomben 10,000 winner who ran 3rd in the Everest and the T J Smith. First try at 1400m. Is up to this.

7. Ho O Amazon – Group 3 winner and multiple Group 2 placegetter in Japan over 1400m-1600m. Has similar Japanese ratings to Hana’s Goal, who won this race in 2014.

11. Jacquinot – Golden Rose & C.F. Orr Stakes winner. Three-year-olds have a good record in this race.

12. Giga Kick– The Everest winner last prep who ran 2nd in the T J Smith last start. Fitter for that. First try at 1400m but rates well.

RACE SUMMARY

Mazu is a model of consistency and looks set to peak here. Cascadian won this race last year and is going even better this year.

Ho O Amazon brings OK form into this and cannot be discounted.

Giga Kick rates highly but is short in the market. Saver.

Jacquinot the knockout, but may get a fair way back.
