Despite an avalanche on the Betfair Exchange, Ipswich Cup winner Self Sense traded the 11th highest winner by volume. Bookmakers across the country could tell a different story with most trading $10-11. Ubet posted $14 on Wednesday which opened up a great Back-To-Lay opportunity with Self Sense closing $3.32.

Turnover for the Stradbroke Handicap meeting at Doomben only fell 1.04% looking at Year-On-Year figures on the exchange. Active clients on the meeting grew by 8%, both figures vindicate the decision made by Racing Queensland to transfer the meeting given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the Eagle Farm surface.
