Meet the team of pro punters here

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23Gosford Race 4 #6 Feature

Walter Says: “Very thin program at Gosford today. A mare that does her best work when able to lead and dictate. She is coming off a win where she led, walked and controlled throughout – that will not be the case today. Plenty of pace drawn inside of her today and she will be tested at running a strong 1200m having to chase. Around the $5.00 mark early looks toxic.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbetGosford Race 2 #2 Sebrarian

Snow Says: “Did an OK job first up last preparation but his first trial this time in average, the latest trial better but had blinkers on and shows up with them off here. Looks limited so happy to oppose at the price.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingFormBendigo Race 7 #5 Du Sumpent

Baker Says: “Does not feature highly in our ratings and is at its fifth run in this preparation. Being trained by Darren Weir means there is a reasonable chance of being over bet compared to its chances of winning. Drawn barrier 8 without any natural early speed means it will need luck to avoid a difficult trip and it does not then possess the same level of ability to finish races off compared to the other runners.”

Ratings2Win –

Paul Daily – @PaulD01Eagle Farm – Race 4 #1 Gracida

Daily Says: “Second up off a 164-day spell and is 32 days between runs facing the testing Eagle Farm track for the first time. The market seems to have placed too much emphasis on the wide trip last start and the fact that its back from a Saturday race to a midweek race albeit in the same grade. The switch from Robbie Fradd to Alannah Fancourt cannot be a positive and we believe that $4.80 in the early fixed odds markets make him the one to oppose.”

Queensland Trials –

Chris Nelson – @qldtrials  – Eagle Farm Race 1 #6 Gypsy Miss

Nelson Says: “Sent out odds on favourite in an easier Maiden last start at the Sunshine Coast when running home ok despite never being any threat to the winner. Steps up to 1200m today which may suit, although she faces tougher opposition and has opened up early favourite. Likely to go around under the odds once again and happy to risk with that being the case.”

Horse Racing Professionals –

Dean the Trial Spy – @DeanTrialSpy  – Bendigo Race 8 #5 Zurprising

Dean Says: “Coming off a 301-day break so its ‘zurprising’ to see this one open up favourite as short as $2.70. Couldn’t win two maiden races over 1100m last prep before stepping up to 1300 and 1400 and winning well. Trainer Kylie Vella’s first up record is poor; but they improve second up. Short quote likely due to trial win which although impressive visually under a hold, was in very slow time beating ‘scrubbers’. Maps to settle last off a fast speed. Considering the long break, is likely to be hitting the line hard but too late over the 1100m today.”
