Meet the team of pro punters here

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23Canterbury Race 4 #4 Dependable

Walter Says: “This horse shows up five weeks between runs (has trialled) and rises significantly in distance here to 1900m. Huge risk over him at the added trip and this should be a truly run event. Big question marks over his conviction in general so more than happy to risk him at the early price.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbet Canterbury Race 3 #6 Oklahoma Girl

Snow Says: “Started solid in the market both starts last preparation and did little to impress on both occasions. Her trials this time only look fair at best and this looks a very solid race to resume in.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Balaklava Race 2 #2 Devious Maid

Baker Says: “Ex-Peter Moody galloper who disappointed at its first start in South Australia for Phillip Stokes. Jumps from 1100 to 1410m, second up after 27 days so I think this may just be a ‘fishing expedition’. Another stokes runner in Scarlett Fox looks a better prospect third up and Containment looks the winner based on its last run and is now a very fit racehorse.”

Ratings2Win –

Paul Daily – @PaulD01Sunshine Coast Race 1 #3 Sweet Repeat

Daily Says: “Looks the likely leader here in what appears to be a very moderate tempo, but that’s where the advantage stops with this mare. Has won two of her last three starts before disappointing last start at Doomben in a Class 4 Fillies and Mares race. Whilst on face vale her figures from those recent winning performances are competitive for a race like this, the market seems to not account for the fact that her Ipswich win two starts ago was flattered by a strong bias. Her current price of $4.60 makes her the one to oppose.”

Queensland Trials –

Chris Nelson – @qldtrials  – Sunshine Coast Race 4 #4 The Amateur

Nelson Says: “Ex Bjorn Baker trained gelding having his first outing for the Toby Edmonds yard having not raced since the November 7th when he was third placed in a six horse field at Bathurst over 1105m. With a gap of over three weeks between runs couple with a 300m rise in distance there has to be a query off his fitness late. At $3.00 in early markets it looks a great lay.”

Horse Racing Professionals –

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff  – Balaklava Race 6 #1 Metier

McMurray Says: “Ended last preparation being beaten 17.6 and 18.5 lengths. Trialled only fair at Morphettville Parks before not running through the line first up again at that venue. Since then was ridden right out to place in a trial at Strathalbyn in average time. Is likely to go back from the draw and has 61kg against an impressive last start winner in Swipe Me Right. I also respect The Show Goes On and Avee Debee which makes me think Metier’s early market price of $2.30 well under the odds.”
